[RELEASE] SlideHome v8 ~ Changing Backgrounds in the TF3D Home Tab

]So..i have made great progress the last days to present you a beta version of Slidehome.

BIG THX to rotastrain for helping me out and giving me inspiration, without you i would have never made it that fast man!!

What is this?
To put it simple, it is a button which turns automatic wallpaper change on and off. nothing more, nothing less.
If you press the button, your wallpaper on the home screen will change every 5 minutes.
If you press the button again, the actual wallpaper stays.

Why Slidehome?
Because it is fully integrated in the TF3D environment. It uses the least ressources i can imagine for such a function and it does NOT slow down TF3D.

What you get in this package:

• a new button in the Album Tab for turning it on and off
• 20 Wallpapers to get started

What you have to do for it to work:

- install the cab
- make a soft reboot
- choose one of the new wallpapers as Background (located in:My Device/Slidehome)
- press the button in the album tab and see the magic begin!


Things to know:

• This thing has been tested on Smabergs Touch X (wm6.1)

• You can change the 20 picture count to whatever you want now! if you make a custom list with x wallpapers, just change it to x! (HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila/hs_quant)

• Of course you can replace any of these wallpapers with your own ones, if you rename them.

• You can change the 5 minutes duration for a wallpaper change in the registry (HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila/Sliderange)

So..as this is a beta, please tell me if you have got problems with it and if u like it or not!

Changes:

• New function to change the wallpaper by one tap! Just tap on the bottom of ur home screen and the wallpaper will change!

Slidehome V0.75 is out now!
Changes:

• Better look & feel because the button looks as he is supposed to!(stays on when slidehome is active)
• Picture Count changeable so you can have as many wallpapers as u want in the homeslide folder!(HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila/hs_quant)
• only 20 wallpapers included this time, lightweight package! (if you guys are interested in more wallpapers but do not have the patience to rename ur pics or find it too difficult, i could upload some renamed picture packs!(i could make cabs out of these packs, that would be no problem!))

Functions I would like to add:
You can simply choose a folder and all wallpapers in there will be loaded(very very difficult because it is not possible within lua only. If you would like to help me and know C or C++, please contact me!!)

Update:
V0.75 will have: Button looks like its pressed if Homeslide is turned on, so u always know if its on or off at a glance.

Hey fellas,

as I have got a first working prototype of it right now, I kinda felt like i have to share this with you guys!

This is my first project so..be kind! :D

The title said it all, its all about changing backgrounds on the home tab. I wonder if anybode else has already done something like that before?! (i am sure i am not the first who came up with that idea *laughs*)

At the moment i have a few issues with the slider bar but we will see...!

So it would be cool if you guys tell me your thoughts about this project and contact me if you would like to beta test it or contribute in whatever kind of way! (i have never build a cab before or so but i think i can figure that out :D)
