Introducing, Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton
This ROM is Windows Mobile 6.5

If the Tiermann Auto Installer does not load automatically, Open Task Manager and select it from there.

This is a relatively clean ROM. Memory Usage in task manager listed at 28 - 33%!

Thank you raybond for posting this, glad to see my ROM is getting some exposure and spreading around.
Just so everyone is aware, I plan to be releaseing V3 later this weekend. If everything goes according to plan, V3 will have all, if not most known bugs hammered out.

nice to have the developer here of this rom :) love to see peole expanding to new horizins :) if you want to make and update your own thread just let us know and we can get that all done for you...... otherwise we will keep up to date for you.

Like I said in the first post I've been using this today and initial reaction is good, battery life is decent, runs real snappy, low memory usage. I am a fan and will definitely keep track of all future developments. :)

I think it may just be easier if raybond updated the thread. (Easier on me :P)
I have this ROM posted on xda as well, and I just dont want to have to maintain 3 separate threads on 3 different boards.

Also, a quick update, I'm currently working on changing icons, however I'm running into problems, only one icon changed BUT the icon that changed looks very very good imo :D I really want to release V3 today so keep your eyes peeled :)

Finally, Titanium Weather is an optional install. If you want it, you can install it. It is causing too many problems.

Yeah, I've got no problem with updating this thread whatsoever. Can't wait to load up V3 :)

Well after a huge problem with corrupt images (ugh) that issue has finally been solved. Custom icons are in and working.
Later today I will be uploading GPS TEST versions to see if GPS will work now.

We'd already discussed this and I agreed to keep this thread up to date instead of Andrew trying to keep track of threads here, at xda, and at ppcgeeks.

Update on V3 Progress....

Trying hard to get GPS to work, but it's very time consuming, especially when my kitchen was spewing corrupted builds left and right. Now its not corrupting, but GPS still isnt working. I'll keep working on it as much as I can, but time will be limited because I just got a job that is mon-fri 5-9, and sat 9-5.
But I promise you guys, V3 WILL come, and ALL problems will be fixed! :D

I was bored this morning so I made a teaser for V3 while playing in photoshop. V3 is close, just waiting to hear back on something. If we are lucky, V3 will have some packages from the Leo included in, so keep your fingers crossed and hopefully I hear back soon! Also, I just want to say thanks for all your support so far with this ROM. I guarantee that I will continue development for the vogue to the best of my ability until I get a new phone (which probably wont be until 2011, as thats when my contract is up.) You guys are the greatest!

vortex is a chef and he does pretty damn nice work..... he is just like any other chef and has to start somewhere before the name is known...... every rom released at one time was by a so called no one ion the cooking world.

So, right now I am going to start my V3 Bell build. If it works, boots etc etc I will start the other builds.
DO NOT Expect them to be uploaded tonight.
I'm tired, just got home from work. I'll probably just build them and pack them, and if theres time make a sexy new front page picture to showcase the v3. Builds will be uploaded tomorrow probably sometime after 7PM est because I gotta work tomorrow too.

sweet!! cant wait! and if you need somewhere to host or someone to upload for ya i got a premium rapidshare account as well as a premium mediafire i could use as mirrors or primaries for you.... if you want the info to the mediafire one or something just let me know... nice way to keep track of how many times it was downloaded.
