TCPMP Problem

Okay so well I guess first off I made the mistake of installing TCPMP & Master Codec Pack 4 (WM6 Ultimate Edition) that I downloaded from PPCGeeks... I got tired of it not showing up in the remove programs list or even in the programs menu list at all, so I went and installed the normal 7.2 edition over again... Now it wont even open, I always get that popup, I've tried uninstalling it and deleting the program files folder that was left behind after the uninstall and reinstalling to no avail but I keep getting that error everytime... Even after a soft reset, and I really DON'T feel like hard resetting jus for an error in a player...


What else can I do to fix this problem, where would I go to delete all of the reg keys that might've been left behind and what not? Any other last resorts?

Also now whenever I go to reinstall the Master version it askes me where I want to install it too and says I don't have enough space when I do indeed on the phone...

Umm, did you read the whole thread there? ? ? ?

Per the instructions in that thread - you're supposed to uninstall what you had to begin with, did you do that? ALso, in the thread, it says you can create your own shortcut thingie so that it will show.

I don't think you are really gonna have a choice.

You're not the only one who has had issues with this from what I can see of the thread at PPCGeeks.

Haven't found anything that would resolve your issue - did you ask in the thread where you got this stuff from????

I actually tried one last thing, which was installing the Master version on my microSD card and it worked, so then I went into SKTools and moved it to the phones Program Files and it moved it successfully and still worked...

As for the shortcut issue, SPB Mobile Shell allowed me to make a special shortcut for me in its My Shortcuts menu...

So I guess this is what others should do, who have the same problem..
