Best RSS News Reader
Hi all,
I was hoping for some insight from our junkie geniuses as to the best news reader. I have tried YomoMedia, SPB News and the stock RSS hub and was not a big fan. YomoMedia was the best. I was after something that looks great but also downloads the entire article to your phone rather than just the heading then directing you through opera to a website if you want to read more. I found SPB to not have useful news and RSS to be ugly. All I am after is a world news and a sports feed. Any help is greatly apprecited :) |

Re: Best RSS News Reader
not to sure if it is what you are looking for as I am not a user of any of the above, However google never seems to let me down. With the google app there is a reader maybe you could give that a shot. I am sure some one else will give you some more input shortly

Re: Best RSS News Reader
hey bud i would suggest choosing the one you liked best out of the ones you mentioned. i personally like SPBnews the best as its the prettiest & most finger friendly. the trick you might be missing is to find "the" news feeds of your choice. most news site will have RSS feeds, so if its Google World News you want, simply add the URL for that rss feed. dont feel compelled to read the default feeds. get rid of what you dont want & make it your own.
this would be the rss feed's URL that you would input into the reader of your choice. simply remove the ones you dont want & add ones you do! Code:
http://news.google.com/news?pz=1&ned=us&hl=en&topic=w&output=rss my selboriyorkernews has feeds from the 1800pocketpc / engadget mobile / wmexperts / chicago cubs / ron paul etc... hope that helps, GL Last edited by drdrewdown; 08-26-2009 at 12:56 AM. |
