well this is what i have installed, and i was using the same thing on wm, well some of them!!!

handcent sms-- works alot better then the deault sms,If you install this disable the notification form default app otherwise you'll get two notifications

google voice
battery graph
astro file mangaer
waze
barcode scanner
palringo
facebook
twidroid pro
biz card reader

I use Pandora at work...really Great when you plug the phone into adaptable 3.5 jack speakers!
Advanced Task Killer is also nice
IMap has a pretty good animated radar loop...
