When Fast Pair-compatible accessories enter pairing mode, they broadcast packets over Bluetooth Low Energy that nearby Android devices automatically pick up during periodic scans. These Android devices then perform a look-up in Googles Fast Pair database to find details on the accessory thats broadcasting. Finally, those devices show a pop-up that asks the user whether they want to pair to the broadcasting accessory. More... |
