With the Galaxy S24 lineup, Samsung became the best option for those who want a smartphone with the longest after-sales software update support. The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra will receive OS and feature updates for seven years, and while Google's Pixel phones also get seven years of updates, Samsung will benefit more customers thanks to its considerably larger market share and worldwide popularity.
