[NEWS] iPhone’s beloved minimalist web browser now available on Galaxy devices

While Google Chrome is the most popular web browser worldwide, including on Android devices, some prefer other browsers. For example, Samsung Internet has quite a fan following due to its added smoothness and features. Galaxy (and other Android) smartphone users now have one more option called Arc Search.

AI-powered Arc Search web browser is now available for Galaxy (and Android) phones

Arc Search, an AI-powered minimalist web browser that was previously only available for iPads and iPhones, is now available for Android smartphones and tablets. It is available in beta form via the Google Play Store, and you need to register for beta testing to use it on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet.

It offers distraction-free web browsing and can block most ads, pop-up windows, and even General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) prompts. It also uses AI to summarize information from multiple websites to offer you an answer for your web search. Moreover, it automatically archives your web browser tabs after a day (default setting), but you can change it.

While the iPad and iOS versions of the web browser have Reader Mode, the feature isn't present on the Android version yet. Since it is new to the Android platform, it could get the missing features in the future.

The Browser Company that developed the Arc Search web browser said it wanted to build the fastest and most efficient way to search for information on the web. The download size of Arc Search is just 4MB from the Play Store, but the full download is somewhere around 20MB.

If you want to try something new to browse the web, you should try out Arc Search on your Galaxy (or any other Android) smartphone or tablet. Such a web browser will come in handy on smartwatches.
