Netflix's ad supported tier reaches new user milestone, defying expectation
 People love ads, it seems. Or at least they love Netflix's ad-supported plan, as they're lapping it up left and right. The company has today revealed that it's now got over 70 million subscribers to the ad-supported plan globally.For context, please note that the number was 40 million in May and 22 million in January - the growth is simply staggering. And they say people don't like ads.
