[NEWS] One UI 7.0 beta firmware spotted on Samsung servers in several countries

Earlier this week, what will likely be the first public One UI 7.0 beta update for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra owners was spotted on Samsung's servers, indicating that our long wait for the One UI 7.0 Beta Program is finally coming to an end.

The first beta firmware was initially discovered for Galaxy S24 Ultra models sold in India and in Europe. Now, it has been spotted (via Tarun Vats)*on Samsung servers in all but one of the markets where the company will make the beta program available.

Beta firmware spotted for six out of seven eligible countries

The list of markets includes the US, the UK, Germany, Poland, India, and Korea. There's nothing in China right now, though we can safely assume it won't take long for that to change.

Since One UI 1.0, these seven countries are the only ones where Samsung has provided users the option to test One UI updates ahead of the global rollout. It is unlikely to do things differently for the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta.



It's worth noting that Samsung doesn't launch beta programs in all countries at the same time. The program is opened in phases, and Germany, Korea, and the US tend to be in the first phase. The second phase usually starts a few weeks later. However, we are hoping Samsung will make an exception this year. You know, to make up for how long it is taking to bring One UI 7.0 to users.

Samsung may add more devices to the beta program when the second phase kicks off for the Galaxy S24 series. We expect every flagship Galaxy phone launched in 2023 and 2024 to be eligible for the beta program. Those with eligible devices will have to sign up through the Samsung Members app, which already has the necessary preparations in place.
