[NEWS] Is the One UI 7 beta coming to more Galaxy devices?

It's 2025, and we are ever so close to the official One UI 7 update. Samsung will bring Android 15 and One UI 7 to existing Galaxy devices after launching the Galaxy S25 series, though Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra owners in select countries have been testing the update through the One UI 7 beta program.

A couple of weeks back, owners of other Galaxy smartphones, particularly flagship ones like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy S23, were wondering whether they would get to use One UI 7 in beta before the end of 2024. But now, the more important question is this: will other devices get the beta at all?

There have been rumors that Samsung has decided to skip straight to the stable One UI 7 firmware for all phones except the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, and at this point in time, it looks like those rumors may be true.

Why? It's simple, really: Samsung started the One UI 7 beta program a little too late. Bringing it to more devices now would only delay the stable update's release. And considering how well the One UI 7 beta is running on the Galaxy S24 lineup after just two beta updates, testing on additional smartphones probably isn't necessary.

If beta access*is*expanded, it's unlikely to be made available for as many devices as we had hoped. But it's all speculation and guesswork for now, and until Samsung officially comments on the matter, there's no way to be certain which way the company will go.
