Is your Samsung smart TV not working as intended? Are you experiencing any issues, or are you trying to find out if everything is in order? Thankfully, Samsung thought about it, and it's easier to find TV issues than you might think. Like Galaxy phones and tablets, modern Samsung smart TVs come with Device Care and a self-diagnosis tool that will help you troubleshoot. Here's how you can use this to your advantage.



The self-diagnosis tool is part of the Device Care suite. Indeed, modern Samsung smart TVs featuring the One UI skin have a Device Care feature that lets you manage memory, receive maintenance tips, and more.



To access Device Care on your Samsung smart TV, first press the Settings button on your remote and then navigate the menus as follows.



Settings > All settings > Support > Device Care.



After you access Device Care, you will have to wait a few seconds for the brief Device Care test to complete. Then, you can navigate the main Device Care menu using your TV remote to highlight and select Self Diagnosis.



From this menu, you can troubleshoot your TV and perform tests for a wide variety of individual features and components, including:

• Power.
  
• Software version.
  
• Video, picture, and sound.
  
• Remote test.
  
• HDMI.
  
• Smart Hub.
  
• Wi,Fi, Bluetooth.
  
• IoT module.
  
• Acceleration sensor.
  
• Light sensor.
  
• Microphone test.
  
• Broadcasting tests.

As the Self Diagnosis tool will no doubt inform you, you can perform these tests individually.



NOTE: This feature was showcased on a 2023 Neo QLED TV. While other TV models will likely offer the Self Diagnosis tool, the UI could look different depending on your software version.
