[NEWS] Samsung test firmware reconfirms Galaxy A57 is in development

The sequel to the most beloved mid-range Samsung phone of 2025 is on its way. The Galaxy A56 has had a fantastic run so far and continues to perform well even after the One UI 8.0 update. Nevertheless, Samsung is developing a sequel for 2026. Here's more proof. Galaxy A57 firmware has been spotted on Samsung's servers.



Predictably, Samsung refers to the Galaxy A57 by the model number SM-A576. And SM-A576B variations for the international market have been spotted by an X user on Samsung's firmware test servers.



This indirectly confirms that Samsung's laboratories are testing the international Galaxy A57 model. However, since no other model numbers for other regions were spotted, we can't yet confirm whether the Galaxy A57 will be available globally.



The United States has been a hit-and-miss market for the Galaxy A5x series in recent years, and it took a while for even the Galaxy A56 to reach the States this year. Hopefully, Samsung will bring the Galaxy A57 to the USA early next year.

As for other bits and pieces of info about the Galaxy A57, there's not much to go on yet, but the same SM-A576B model number popped up in the IMEI database last month.



Furthermore, the Galaxy A57 will likely be powered by the upcoming Exynos 1680 chip, which Samsung appears to be developing and testing. Early benchmarks performance appears underwhelming, but these are preliminary tests. The final product should perform better.



Regarding availability, we can only speculate that if Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy A57 a year after its predecessor, it should be available for purchase in March 2026. However, Samsung's plans can always change. We'll keep you informed as more details emerge.
