What types of files are these? .001? .002? Should I be changing the extension to something else?

these are 7zip files...... just take the numbers off at the rear and they will work without troubles.

Tried it so that the extension is left as .7z
Still isn't working. 7Zip says it cannot open the file "as archive."

Not sure what that means except that I'll just have to be happy with the 7.0 that I aleady have! lol.

use 7zip than... it is a program that you can download for free through google.

no clue im out of ideas..... have tou tried taking it back to the rar or zip extensions and see if it will allow to open?

Yeah... I've toyed around with it in several ways.

No biggie. I'm sure another option will come along. V12 is on Wckediden, too, but I can't get it to work, either. Heavens forbid I actually have to pay money! lol
