Paypal People From A Phone
Paypal has added pages to its website explaining how members can now use their mobile phones to make paypal transactions. After linking their PayPal account to a mobile number, users can text a simple message to "PAYPAL" (729725) or call an 800 number to send money to another phone number. If the transfer is initiated by text, they will receive a call to verify and confirm the transfer. Links to this information are not available from PayPal's homepage or account management pages, indicating the service has only soft launched so far. An alternative service, TextPayMe, is in beta, however its payment message must be sent to an email add ress not a phone number or short code.
