nice program , somethin new for me to play with

I use Xara and Ulead Cool3D to make the animated gif's and then use Animation Shop from PaintShop 9.0 to combine them and come up with a finished Gif.
And then once I got going with them, then I added plug-ins like Eye Candy for more animation choices.

Any other good programs out there???

to bo honest with you im new to the whole gif , sig thing ive been fukkin wit photoshop , this might sound stupid but i cant figure out how to apply an image to the second layer in photo shop

like for example , aplly an image to a background andmake it transparent

No, just need the right software to do all the work for ya! LoL

I have PhotoShop and Paint Shop with the Eye Candy plugins, but those programs have a pretty steep learning curve. I still don't know how to do half the stuff that they are capable of.
On the other hand Xara3D and Ulead Cool3D are easy to use to throw something together quick, and still look pretty good.

Always on the lookout for something new though.

its not giving an option to save as anything other than a .x3d format. Can you hint me in on how to save as something else?

Don't use "save as" use "export Animation" further down the list.

I don't have that program on the new computer yet, but I think you have to use the Wizard tool and then add a layer to the pic before you paste the image from the Wiz tool. (Wow hard to explain just typin in....)

well i did it , i finally figured out that thing in photoshop , im gonna begin to teach myself sigs , it was so simple , i couldnt beleive i overlooked it so many times :shrug: :hifi: :ole: :dots:
