How TO Burn PS2 Games

Required Software/Hardware:
- DVD -R (I use -R because it seems to run MUCH MUCH better, somtimes this is also a very big fix for some people trying to burn the game.)
- DVD Burner
- Alcohol 120%
- a PS2 with swap magic or disk swap to play this on and or softmod your ps2 with the software thats in this post :yahoo: [Click on the smile to get to the page for the softmod]

I will help anyone out that doesnt know or hasn't come up with a way to burn the ISO to a DVD5 disc. Here is a little guide you can follow, its

very simple and easy to follow and is an almost sure way to make it work.

Method One:

Alcohol 120%

1. Start Alcohol 120%
2. Select the Copy Wizard option
3. Select the drive that will read the disc & your read speed
4. Select or Deselect the copy current disc on the fly option
5. For data type select which console the game is for PS1/ PS2 then press Next
6. Select your image location and name it then press Next
7. Select the drive that will write the disc and write Speed
8. Look through any other options and change if needed
9. Make sure that the data type selected is the same as selected above
10. Press Start to begin

Method Two:

1. Use DVD Decrypter to Read the game and put the ISO on your HD.
2. Use DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO image you made at 1x burning speed (do NOT go any higher than 2x ever)
3. If you want, and this is what I do, use Alcohol 120% to burn the image made from DVD Decrypter and burn at 2x. I just like the way Alcohol

burns the games, it seems to be a little more reliable than DVD Decrypter in my opinion.

when your using the swipe card to put in a new disc this is where the opening of the swipe card goes in take your time when your making your card you dont need 2 make one out of a credit card u could use anything thats hard plastic or metal as long as they mesure the same as the picture below

my big question is can you still play online with these burnt *****es lol..

that's what makes me question should i waste my money or not because i heard unanoumously that when any program burns the image to the blank cd it doesn't burn the DNAS with it or whatever it is that enables you to pass "inspection" to be able to play online.

yes u can the ps2 could be played online as long as u have the right dnas number with the game idk about the cd burn games that your talking about but your best bet is to burn these games on dvd

Alright man lol thanks a lot but i have another question...please lead me in the right/most easiest direction..

**I have somebody that will install a modchip for me for a cheap price..he's a friend of my friend's lol..

I want to be able to copy ps2 games to play them on my ps2 of course...but i still want to play online with them...

Tell me which way you would go about doing this..

download the softmod pack and in the pack it will have the text file with the DNAS numbers so that u could go online with the games

Alright well my V3 ps2 went up in smoke about 2 days ago and now i have the latest version of the ps2...which is the slimline...

What do i need to do in order to play the backup games burned onto a DVD disc on my playstation 2 (slimline) and be able to play online with them.

Please give all options, from modchips to swapmagic idc...i just need to know lol thanks!

just check out this site it will give u a idea on what u can get as a modchip or swap disk http://www.modchip.com/ps2/ be sure to read the item cuz not all the modchips are for the new ps2
