Most of the time goes to the background, but when Im trying to download a file it shuts down or appear a white screen on Opera, and when I had the Original Touch, when I'd install the Velvito's Rom(for example), the Rom didn't configure the rigth name to the device, it happens usually when someone uses a rom from other carrier and Sprint doesn't reconize your devices name, please correct me if Im wrong!, thanks in advance.

Well, you should start by tellin us what the problems are that youve found. You see, some problems happen in every ROM, especially with TF3D. So let us know what the problems are so we can help you better.

Phat rom kaos u built the shitznits on this one had no problem on this concerning it was my first flash ever im no virgin no more with flashing now......but about the gps thing he might be talkin about live search cuz when i enter live search and try to get my current gps position i get an gps error sayin sorry, could not communicate with gps on port 0 any ideas how to fix this thanx in advance...........oh yeah the rom still gets a A+

try a different gps app and see if ti works for you.... i have been hearing troubles about roms and the apps that are built in gps wise..

you should read through this thread a little more man. most of the things you said i have either dexcribed a fix for or explained. go back and read it and come back when your done with anymore questions

You need to go to settings/system/external gps and see what GPS program port its on... then go to Live Search Menu/settings and change your GPS Com to match... Works for me...

i read all of it. you haven't fixed any of my problems in any of your posts so i have no idea what you're talking about.

look. i'm not complaining. this is a beta version. i was simply stating portions of it don't work so they could be fixed. period. that's the whole reason for distibuting a beta. blowing people off and telling them all custom roms has this problem really doesn't fix anything.

and Kaos, this is a truly nice rom. i like it better than any i have tried but yes, the problems need to be fixed. i don't carry water for anyone and i will tell it like it is. period. if the rom works i will tell you, if it doesn't, same thing.

Your supposed to read before you ask. To avoid cluttering up a thread with the same questions and answers. Theres 3 things that would answer a ton of questions and get rid of redundant posts. Read, search, and read again.


Besides, the discussions Im talking about are almost all on the last 2 pages. Its not that much to read. And you can use the "search this forum" tool to the right to see if whatever your problems are were discused already.

download the zipfile i have attached here. extract the two files within it and copy them to your windows directory on you phone. then do a soft reset and check the software. it should look correct now.

Hey Kaos I just wanted to give my update on the Rom. Since the release I've been running it and the best thing I've found is the battery life. I don't know if its just me or not but I'm seeing 25-30 % better life out of my phone

I had installed the Nuerom initially and have found your new ROM to be faster, cleaner, and more feature rich - nice job.

Few problems:

1) When I push and hold the phone button to activate voice commander, I get an error of "the file 'voicecmd' cannot be opened. Eitehr it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the probelm persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file". The Voice Commander is on the phone and I did set it up, but the button is not working. I can't seem to find where to point push and hold phone button to the new phone commander.

2) I had MS voice command working well with my Blue Ant bluetooth headset, but I'll give this new one a try . Just curious what makes it better or worse.

3) Was there any reason why there wasn't a GPS application included? I just requested access at smartphonejunkes to this ( https://www.wckediden.com/showthread.php?t=174156) which will hopefully have the missing file, but I'm curious what people are doing. I was going to find Tom Tom software, but could use Google Maps or something else. Just curious.

4) I also ran into a problem with Photo Contacts Pro working with the ROM. iContacts is interesting, but Photo Contacts does more. I am hoping that by uninstalling, soft booting, and reinstalling it, it will be ok...

i would use MS Voice Command instead. it's posted at the top of the page.

also. tomtom works perfectly with this rom. if you had it on any other pro rom, just reinstall.

Also, a question on MusicID. It works perfectly, but it says that it's on a 3 day trial. I tried clicking to find out how much it is to subscribe and it says that there the software doesn't work on my device.

Thansk for the "DUH" point to the download for MS voice command. I installed it and it seems to work fine - with one quirk. I noticed a weird quirk that came, then went away, then came back with running Swcked shell...

The Drop down menus within the settings side for Swcked Shell "dont' work". I click on the arrow and nothing comes out. This started happening and then magically seemed to go away .... It's back again. I thought it was working fine before the VM command software.. Only other software that I put on there was the Photo Contacts Pro software...

I have a tech support e-mail into Swcked, but curious if anyone's seen this happen.

tomtom is here. you need the VGA version. i posted a little tutorial on how do get the maps to work. you will also need the maps.

I noticed the opposite happening to mine...the battery is draining faster (I left my phone on all night, I did not receive any calls or text, originally it was at 98%, when I woke up it was 45%) I was wondering should I flash again? or is it just the ROM. :furioso:

it seems like my battery life kinda dies kinda quick too.. and i didnt even notice i didnt have sprint navigaion on here anymore.. that sprint navigation on sbj should work right... the one that was extracted from another ROM or something.. or should i attempt to download TomTom.. i really just want the sprint navi..

Go under windows directory and the sprint navigation cab should be there... it is build into the ROM you just have to install it.... It works perfectly.

i don't include sprint nav cause it sucks....I use garmin...I build these roms for me...And release my versions....and for battery life.....make sure you turn beam off...
