does it have an opera O next to it and say Sprint_Extra then underneath that opera O sprint TvChannels... cus if thats it i clicked on the sprint one and it opens up a blank internet page...

Going to try and find the Garmin or Tom Tom software and give it a try.

In the meanwhile, any word on the MusicID software? It works great - just only has a 3 day trial on it. What's the deal with it?

I think once you soft reset the device it restarts the trial but not sure

I never found the sprint navigation in the windows on my device through file explorer.. i dont have enough memory on my storage card yet to get garmin or tomtom.. and i dont have the patience yet... i know you have to install that and all of those maps...

This is a great rom. I have a few question. Where are the cabs located for stuff that was on the original sprint rom? Also in the first post it says that HTC sliding sounds is on this rom. Where can I find this? I looked under programs and didnt find it. Thanks.

Im new here and just wanted to say a BIG thanks for this ROM. Downloading now and from what I heard its off the chain!!! Here are ALL the cabs from the stock sprint.

Has anyone been able to get Sprint TV to work on this ROM? I keep getting the 7004 connection error. I really love this ROM and I usually use Sprint TV ALOT! Any help is MUCH appreciated!

yah the sprint tv told me that I cant run the tv on that it is unable to launch the app using current internet connection. to run the app, please change your internet connection to use the cellular network.. what can I do... or is there another good app like Sprint tv.. and im not talking bout diamond tv or handi tv.. they arent better... and i know there isn't a fix for mobi tv which is about equivalent if not better than Sprint tv.. help and good lookin out cus u guys are amazing!!!! lol

i think there is some kind of conflict with sprint tv network with this rom because a couple of members have had the same problem. Only kaos can confirm this though. there is no fix that i know of for this yet

i couldn't really confirm it...all i can say is i don't use it...Could be a frame work issue...Maybe dependent on 3.0... all that is in the rom is 2.0 and 3.5.... i left 3.0 out cause of conflict with sprint pic mail...so try adding it...you may loose pic mail though.

on another note cause of some issues some seem to have...I will remake a 931 off of sprint theme....fixing calendar issue...cause thats what i used for my personal and i have no issues...

Has anyone figured out the issue of not being able to bring up ms voice command with the call button on the wired htc headset? I've mapped the send/hold button to MSVC. It works fine with the call button on the phone itself and even with the call button on my bluetooth devices, but for some reason, it doesn't work on the stock htc wired headset... It's really weird... I know some others have had this problem here but I don't think it was fully addressed. I've re-installed the MSVC cab posted here, and it came up with some errors during installation, but the app does work after reset..., except for this... The basic call/redial function DOES work on the wired headset, but the voice command activation does not... Anyone?

Also, is there a way to only have the wallpaper image on the today screen and leave the other TF3D tabs with the dark background like stock? I love this theme but the the letters get washed out if you apply a lighter colored wallpaper and it becomes difficult to read on the other tabs...Thanks!

I got Sprint TV to work on this ROM (great ROM, btw).
It was more of a guessing game, but eventually, what I think worked was this:
Installed the stock Sprint TV version (SprintTV-1_6_Raphael_1044_082708.CAB).
Installed Calkulin's Sprint TV Fix.CAB

Where I could be totally wrong is that I upgraded Sprint TV (it prompted me) after the initial flash. I think the stock Sprint TV CAB is an older version, which may be the same as on Kaos' ROM.

So, you could try just install the Fix CAB and see what happens.

If someone upgrades and then installs the fix, I'd be curious to know if it worked. I need to see my Bears play tomorrow night, so I don't want to mess with it.

great rom. but is there a way I can get rid of Tf3d, Opera, music id, g light, weather database editor, and new pie. I use ultimate launches and htc home plug in as my today screen. and like old pie better. a lot faster

If you dont like TF3D then just uncheck it in the today settings.....as for the other programs, there cooked into the rom, so if u dont like them, just dont use them.

Well, I dont know what to tell you. There cooked into the ROM, and hes not gonna redo a ROM just so you can have it without them programs. I dont understand why you want them off anyway. They dont affect you if you dont use them.

Yea man, the programs your talkin about take up very little space on your device. The way Kaos made this ROM, he leaves you with a lot of space free on your device. You should also get an SD card if you dont already.

Also, this ROM is for the TOUCH PRO. Accoding to your profile, you have the touch. This will not work on the Touch.

props to all those answering questions in this thread... cuz i am getting bored just reading some of the noob posts... its working great for me... i had to fix a couple things but no problems after i tweaked it for my specific taste... please please please read this thread from the beggining before actually posting a question people , pretty much everything is covered by those already asking... and make sure you hit the installed button... im sure there are many more installs then it says at the top of the thread

The MusicID softaware had a three day trial on it. If I click to subscribe, it tells me that it's not available for my handset (and it worked perectly before)..

I was told somewhere that even if you soft reset, it resets the 3 day window, but I didn't get that.

Any ideas?

The musicID software that was installed with the KAOS rom tha let's you play music and it identifies it... It worked beautifully, but I"m outside the trial.

I've been poking around this site and there might be a "resetter" program, but I haven't found it yet.

when was the last time i yelled? been months and months since i have done so...... but just install the vga version and use that since that is unlimited.

For those that care, followed the instruction the link above and got it to work.

The only quirk is that because MusicID is built into the ROM, I couldn't find an easy way to "install it" - so I just left it there and then deleted the entry in the registry and installed it - seems to work fine now..

Glad you got it to work but are you trying to uninstall music id if so just install the cab then uninstall

the sound settings tab in TF3D. the rom has a extra tab and you can change every audio setting in your phone from this tab.

No, thats all thats included. You have to download the RUU folder and the Unlocker seperatly. I have a link to them in my sig below:)

Just open PIMbackup again, select restore instead of backup, then navigate to where you saved it. Mine go to the storage card root directory. Select it, then follow the onscreen prompts:)
