all my email addresses work fine.... the only time i have heard of this happening is when someone doesn't take the battery out for a minute and hard reset after the flash.

Sometimes the windows live app gets screwy. Try loading this on your phone and see if it helps:)

This is a really great ROM.

Some bugs though... My programs are regularly closing to the background. Also TouchFlo3D re-launches fairly often as well. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I also have the issue with switching to landscape and having the action screen or the dialer pop up, but I'm fairly certain that has to do with the HTCVolume.dll file that Kaos used to change up the icons. It's a known issue I read about at ppcgeeks. I don't have enough posts here to put up the link but just search for Custom start icons in the TP forum over there

Yeas, all the issues you are reffering to have been addressed and discussed by the members and staff in this thread. They are all pretty common in custom roms:)

Really? Cuuuuz in all honesty I didn't come across those 2 specific issues in these past 26 pages. I've flashed more than twenty ROMS on a few different devices and I've never had my progams just close on me with such frequency (minimum 5-10 times a day). The 4 ROMS that I've flashed on the TP have never once caused TouchFlo3D to re-launch, let alone several times a day. As far as installed programs go, I haven't really changed that up much.

So I guess I have to disagree with your above statement. I dunno, maybe the Flash was wonky. Reflashing and Retweaking is such a B*** I think I'll just deal with it til the next version, cuz this ROM is so close to greatness

Hey by the way, I noticed a couple of your icons weren't upgraded yet, I think they pretty much have them all done and cabbed up on that ppcgeeks thread I mentioned (search custom start icon in the TP forum)

if you flash from your SD card it will. otherwise it won't.

lol no the cab isnt installed. but the reg settings in the cab are....lol it was all done through registry....

Hey Kaos thank you so much for another kick ass rom, there is one thing i did notice that wasn't working, and that was the calendar shortcut in the home screen. not sure if other people are getting the same small issue.

this is a common problem for everyone that is running the tab on their devices...... there is no fix for it at the moment but people are working on it.

Great job with the rom Kaos. Were battery hacks included in the rom? My battery life is horrible. When I take the phone off the charger its at 100%. 10 minutes after its down to 90%. I wouldn't be using the phone and the screen wouldn't be turned off.

dude turn beam off how many times i got to say this..lol also on the developers site for the % says 100 to 90 is unstable... that it varies.. that 90 down is more accurate.

To fix the Calendar problem and the phone dialer popping up when sliding open, download the Diamond TF3D Config tool and change to a new TF3D layout. That fixed my problems with those two issues.

I'm also having battery issues and my beam receive is OFF. Had my phone in pocket for 4 hours without using it and it dropped 30%, is this normal?

Also, ActivSync keeps running. I stop it every time and it starts back up again. Haven't heard anyone say anything about this one.

you need resco to overwrite a file correctly...I don't know why you have battery issues... mine runs like a champ for over 24hrs.and activesync does that on any rom. its normal. there is a way to set it up for manual server. search for it.

Just got done reading a ton of stuff after DAsh said I should prob stop using a stock ROM and Super gave me 3 to check out.
But a couple questions..

1: lol, whats this mean? "As Kaos would say....Verizon=FTL, Sprint=FTW." flw? ftl?

2: What happens to apps that came with my phone like the "Voice Recorder", "Word Mobile", "Excel Mobile", or the G-Sensor game "Teeter". I assume I no longer have them unless they happen to be included in the ROM, Correct? I saw someone wanted to know what to use for IM messaging. The HTC Pro comes with Yahoo, AIM, ect. So I take it alot of apps are gone.

3: Dash simply said with a cutsom ROM your phone can be the beast it was meant to be. But I see so many people talking about the bad issues in detail. The only good comments are "Awesome" "Love the new ROM ect" So I was wondering What are all the Pros of switching ROMS, besides more space on your device. I know battery life is supposed to be one, but i see people saying there phone is dying faster.

Ok man, this should really be asked in the Touh Pro questions area since its not really specific to this ROM and thread, but I'll answer anyway. Allrighty..... 1st FTW = for the win FTL - for the lose. Basically saying sprints rocks and verizon sucks:) 2nd, the programs that come with the ROM should be listed in the first post of the thread of each particular ROM. Anything thats not included that you want, we have here somewheres. And I mean everything...I dont know of any progams that are out that we dont have or cant get. In fact, we have mostly all the stock apps together in one rar file here:) And 3rd, flashing to one of these ROMs is recommended because it will make your phone operate alot quicker and smoother. As well as having more memory. But you also must keep in mind that every ROM cooked by someone is gonna have flaws, so read the threads and be prepaired for minor glitches, it just comes with the territoy. But if you truly are more happy with your stock rom after flashig, you can always flash back to it.....I think thats pretty much everything. Anything else let me know:)

I've had activsync run before but it doesn't come back up once i exit it like here.
And i use Resco explorer but for some reason under the Windows folder, only a few folders and files show up, not everything that's actually there. and I renamed it welcomehead.192.png because that's what yours is called but i also tried welcomehead.96.png and that didn't work.

don't know a fix just yet for your querty problem, maybe someone else can help with that one...as for you issues with the landscape returning to the default landscape menu, just click your drop down quick menu (upper right hand corner) and - more than likely, you will see that your program(s) is/are running in the background of the landscape default...by selecting the one you were using it should bring it to the front with no problem...over...

Agreed, the progrmas going to the backround is kinda common, but that QWERTY thing is a new one by me. And I ran this ROM for a good minute too.

i am getting worse battery life also...and my battery seems to be giving wrong readings...like it mite stay at 70% for 1/2 hour then out of nowhere it will drop to 59% things like that & also it will drop a % point when i exit a app sometimes..so i mite use google maps for 1 sec then exit and it will drop 1% point then if i go to a different app and exit it will do that again until it drop like 8% total then it will stop

Do you have a tilt like your profile says? If so, dont try and flash this ROM. It is for the pro. If you have the pro, then I would upgrade your profile.

yes i would recommend going with a different radio..... i use the bell newest and love it myself.

yea i seen that thread but i didnt see a bell radio there..since im not familar with bell or telus im guessing they r the same thing or maybe i just need to get my eyes checked...ill try the telus 1 now..

o yeah i dont think it was this rom that was causing my battery to die and give inacurate readings cuz i changed roms and it seem to still be doing it..thanks 4 the rom i just wish i didnt have to charge my phone 2/3 a day without even using it so i could enjoy it

on the old builds if you used weather panel on the main today plugin. it would freeze at radio boot. not going past splash..forcing a hard reset....this works. if you use it it will boot past like it should,...was a issue for many builds...long ago.... its standard in my oems so its automatically added to build log.:glasses1:

I think telus is bell. Could be wrong, but I know there was talk of a bell/telus merger last year. Dont know whatever became of that though
