My Rom is based off of Xip 20931.1.5.0 with some stuff removed some added...all and all very stable...I would forst and foremost like to thank colonel, GGurUSA, and no2chem. With out them none of this would be possible..

thanks to rwcj63 for this find:
there is a problem with the touch pro being able to announce incoming calls with voice commander. the following registry tweek is needed as a patch. it still doesn't work 100% correctly but it's better than nothing (this solution was taken from a posting at ppcgeeks - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...command&page=4)

The problem with the call announcement on the TP doesn't appear to be with Voice Command, but possibly with the phone software on the TP - since Voice Command is generating the announcement file - it's just not being played.

The following registry changes might partially restore the call announcement, a short-term solution until something better comes along:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Category: change VoiceCommand1 to Ring
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Script: change as5p to v0p (for vibrate and ring) or p (for ring only)

With this change, the ringtone will start - and then be interrupted with the calller ID/name announcement. (Assuming that call announcement has been enabled in Voice Command).

Only major flaw with this solution is that the announcement volume is low.

why not just flash from your card..... otherwise you will need the touch pro RUU.... you can find all the information in the rom flashing tutorial linked in my signature.

whats it doing to you when you try to run the hardspl? are you connected to activesync or device center and following the steps ? you on a 64 bit system?

It just errors out after the progress bar shows up. I use activesync on XP Pro. I'll try again tomorrow maybe.

be sure that the 2 arrows are on the top of your screen that means your connected to activsync

Kaos, dude, awesome work bro. Ive been on this site for about 2 weeks now and ive always been very hesitant to actually flashing roms on my tp, due to fear of screwing it up, but earlier today i said screw it and decided to do it with ur rom and its awesome. Im excited to have this and excited to not be a flash virgin anymore :yahoo: lol. i already hit the thanks and install buttons to give you your cred. Now i just gotta go and find the cab for Windows Live thats in the stock rom so i can use messenger and get my hotmail on my phone.

Try using Palringo for your messenger has all the different one's there you would use. Should be able to set up hotmail on your phone with out window live on there.

eh, I give up. I run the ImCokeMan's 0.40 Vogue unlocker and it doesn't do anything. It just goes to the Touch Pro screen with the red letters on the bottom and that's it.

I just got the touch (turned my mogul in to sprint in california while i was visiting home) Sprint had the tp delivered there in cali as i was going home to florida. My mother in law picked up the phone and has held on to it for like a week now and hasnt sent it yet. Pissing me off. everytime i complain to my wife she tells me im being ungrateful. haha

Read the flashing tutorial. There are step by step instructions there for flashing from custom rom to stock.

i read all of that but i was wanting to know where to find the touch pro stock rom just incase i have to take my phone back for some reason like my mogul. the few times it messed up i had to flash back to the stock rom befor they would look at it. thanks

he took voice command out of this rom.... if you do a search for microsoft voice command here you will find it without troubles.
