yea photoshop,paintpro. other programs like that....replacing the original files....not an easy thing to do....we dont have a tutorial on that here which im sure would be your next question.....use google and see if ya come up with anything.....

yup just as taylor said... you take all the manila files from the windows folder (or from a premade theme) and than change each individual one to what you want and than save with the same name and when all thousand or so images are complete zip em up and use the touchflo 2d config tool to choose.....

can someone help me, I have the whole .theme thing down packed, but everytime I run the program I pick the path hit apply and nothing happens. The start button comes up but there is no name next to file. When I hit the start button it says changing registry but nothing happens, the phone just get stuck on the screen and I have to soft rest. what am I dong wrong?

your running on the mogul and this si for vga screens and not qvga which your phone has... and also you dont have touchflo 3d or any of the manila files to overwrite in the windows folder thus why it freezes... i would be more careful in the future and watch what you installl by reading the first psot since it clealry stated throughout this thread and there that this ewas for the touchflo 3d phones only.....

you must look for the folder the theme file is stored in, HIGHLIGHT the folder, dont open it and press ok, the theme should appear on the drop down menu now

just make sure the theme is extracted

I did all that, the theme shoes up in the drop box but when I hit start "Changing Registry" comes up but nothing happens, the phone freezes and I have to soft rest

Its probably the theme your tryin to install... try downloadin it again... if it still a no go... go with what works...

Its an updated tf3d conf tool with a working version of the tweaks. if anybody knows how help me help you with what im finding please let me know.

Thanks for the share... Im sure one of my fellow staff junkies will add this to the first post after checking it out l8a... i would, but Im at work and cant check it out just yet... Also if you give us the updated info, like the version number, and what the new build change are that have been made, so we can update the first post appropriatly... thanks!

Also to make new release threads, you have to join the members software group as an uploader... just like you did to be able to download...

Thanks for the input. I gotta say this is the most helpful place to come for actual help instead of blah blah. I havent had to ask to many questions, but im just getting in to this stuff.

The version is 0.6.7. of diamond tf3d configuration from xda developers.

This version gives the wakeup on sms, manual screen rotation, and some other tweaks im still playin with. Working just fine though for me.

Sprint Clock fix...

How di I work around the errors I am getting trying to run the SPRINT FLIP CLOCK FIX..

I cant find the directions now but they left a hole in the info on what to do.

I opened the zip file, unzipped the files to a directory I made. Then I selected all files except the back up folder and put them info the windows directory and overwrote if asked. I said yes to a couple of them and then I got errors on files that said it was "access denied, make sure you have enough disk space or it is not write proteted"

How do I get past this.....???????? My clock is still normal...

you need resco file explorer to overwrite the original files. go find it and it will work.

yuppers, resco ir total commander will do what you are looking.... you cant use the stock file explorer to overwrite rom files..

your not using the touchflo 3d 2 rom are you? if so it isnt working becasue you have to use touchflo 3d 2 themes on it and all of those are cab files..... this is just for original touchflo 3d

Ok, after reading through all 4 pages of this thread, I am still having issues with this tool all of a sudden. I have had it in the past and it would work for a while then stop working and I would get the exception error. I'd uninstall, reinstall and be fine. When I started reading this thread, I see that you say to go in to the program file and delete the tweaks item with the opera symbol next to it. At the time, there was no tweaks item to delete. So I deleted the original cab for the tool, downloaded and installed the updated diamondconfig.cab that was posted. I still got the exception error, went back into the program file. This time the tweaks item was there, deleted it...immediately tried to run the app and again got the exception error. I soft reset, went back to run the app again....still got the exception error. Where do I go from here?

Before anyone answers that question, can you answer this one as this just popped in my brain. I am running Juicy 8 Rom with the Black HD theme, does this app work with TF3D2?

no this doesnt work with touchflo 3d2, this is for .theme files only....... .theme files are what were made at the very beginning when touchflo skins were first being released.

not sure but i might be having a simuliar problem. i have been running stock sprint rom over 8 months and haven't had a problem. till yesterday i upgraded my rom with the new 2.0 version on htc website seems to be working good but i used the config tool and changed my theme like always but now it dosent seem to want to restore back to default. has anybody have the same trouble or can anyone maybe point me in the right direction.thx. jdog1

sorry it gives me an error when i try to open it to install the theme file but it wont open the error comes up ... it says details and quit .. and im using calkulins touch pro rom its has the touch flo 3d
