Default SuperCID your ppc-6800 and writing it's ESN

SuperCID your ppc-6800 and writing it's ESN.

1. Boot holding power button and camera button to enter bootloader
2. start up mtty, and connect via usb
3. run command "rtask a"
4. run command "echo_on"
5. run command "writeCID 00000000" (you may want to run the next command readCID first to get the existing one!)
6. run command "readCID"
7. verify the new CID in indeed set!
9. run command rtask c
10. while in mtty it may not echo what u type but still continue and follow the Exact Process

Now Unlocking and Porting Method

1. Run GetSPC program from your Mobile and get the SPC of your Phone, Remember put ESN in Capital Letters and write down the SPC this will be usefull in CDMA Workshop
2. dial ##diag# and put phone in Diagnostic Mode or else just run DMRouter.exe from \windows folder of PPC and then Connect the Phone to miniUSB
3. Phone will ask for Diagnostic Modem Driver Just Point to the Attached Driver Directory if any time it ask for missing file point it to C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\System32\Drivers
4. Start CDMA Workshop 2.7 Cracked and Connect the Desired Port if the HTC Diagnostic Port is not in Range Just Reassigns any Port in Range and Connect the phone
5. Send the SPC u got it from GetSPC.
6. Write the new E*N using nv_Write Method found in CDMA_Workshop (Nokia 6275 can be usefull to get all E*N min mdn of RUIM to set it on 6800) (Nokia 6275 *3001#12345# for reading RUIM ESN and MIN MDN)
7. MIN / MDN / SID / NID / PRL shoud be loaded using QPST 2.7 Build 263
8. Then there you have your voice and "should" be able to use 1x data as well if not, then go into **778* and change your Security and M.IP Default Profile settings to the correct usernames ( i believe verizon uses ##########@vzw3g.com )
9. go into **778 and go to the Security tab and use the phone CTL + C to copy the passwords onto a word file. Do the same for the M.IP Default Profile, HA Shared Secret and AAA Shared Secret. Once you have all that copied onto a word document, bluetooth it over to the 6800 and paste it into the **778* respective settings. Also, change the other settings on the 6800, for example the Primary and secondary HA settings, MN HA & AAA SPI values. To be safe is to make the settings exact as the 6700 and you will be able to have data on your 6800 from sprint on your verizon plan.

Attached is the kit Containing TATA and Reliance PRL, CDMA Settings, Diagnostic Modem Driver, GetSPC to read SPC from Phone, mtty.exe, Manual

You still require CDMAWorkshop 2.7 Cracked and QPST 2.7 263 if CDMA Workshop could not load PRL
(For Indian Users) Set the Phone into NV_only mode in Security or else Writting MIN will get failed

If mtty dont connect Disable USB Connection in activeSync / in in mtty it says inValid Command you have to again Boot in Boot Loader mode and start again

say thanks to shadomite first and then only thank me !!

Ok, Dash i got 1, you answered and said this gives the phone a New ESN in case it has a bad one my questions are.. If you change the ESN wouldnt you have to find a ESN of another phone exactly like it but NIB(new in box) ebay talk, unactivated so that you dont hijack someone elses ESN of a phone thats already being used on an active account if it generates a new one how do you know it doesnt already exsist somewhere else on another phone?:40: secondly would the phone be able 2 be reactivated and applied to say a new account and recognized by sprint systems as the phone in hand "say i gave a mogul a new ESN" will sprint computers recognize the ESN as a moguls or is this only good for swapping phones yourself without calling sprint? lastly would it be covered by an insurance policy, probably not because they scan the back serial # when switching phones in the store. Basically im asking how do you apply this? it gives the phone a new/generated ESN then what? Sorry for all the questions but im intrigued by this, thanks in advance

Could this sort of thing be used to swap a device over providers? I don't know much about this sort of thing but say I had a friend who could not afford a new phone and he was on a different service than me.

Could I change the CID and ESN to his current unit and give him the ability to use my old Sprint Mogul on a VZW network?

They both use CDMA...

providers have to be the same and for the cloning of the device you would do this: say you have a mogul and a diamond. you can take the esn from the mogul and place it on the diamond..... but be sure that you are careful to NEVER have the 2 phones on at the same time even for a second as a isaid earlier in this thread.

I hate to resuscitate an old thread, but I have to pick the brains of the ppc gods! I have an issue with the above steps I need help with.

Quick run down of my issue...I bought a PPC6800 Mogul from a buddy who had it cloned onto Metro. Being the way I am, I preferred to legitimately add the ESN, so I did. Now I need to change all settings back so I can get my phone on Metro (this is my work phone I kinda got stuck and had to get my old phone on a temp # ...i suck lol)

I got the diagnostic drivers loaded, Newest Sprint ROM and Ollipro 2.4 loaded. When i use mtty to get access to device, I was able to writeCID to 00000000 (and the read command confirms it) but when I use the command rtask c I get "Invalid cmd!..."

Any ideas?? Thanks for the help guys!!!
