Hey Probex I'm running (v1.6 WDM's 2D Diamond ROM w/ UC) and it Run's Flawless I love it.

please help. ok...im running a custom rom made from ppckitchen without touchflo. it is on a mogul.I have followed all the steps to the letter but everytime when touchflo runs with your theme as soon as I scroll over messages it restarts touchflo. im using update 14 and still nothing. again any help would be greatly appreciated .

Did you download load touchflow2d ? If so start then programs ,file explorer ,my device ,program files then s2u2

You have to install S2U2 its a separate program its not part of touchflow2d. just search here for S2U2 in the search bar and install that .cab then navigate to your ppc program files folder S2U2/gfx delete the gfx folder there and upload my .gfx folder in its place.

ok i have done a complete reinstall of wm6.1 and followed all the directions...it pretty awsome, the slider works great and the dialer. I have switch to the alien theme but everything is still the same...like all my program icons and setting icons, like everything in the phone hasnet changed...any help would be great

1.install your rom sounds like you did that
2.install touchflow2d on your device
3.install s2u2 on your device
4.install my theme by the step by step guide in the zip file

thats about all I can tell you I can't really load it for you myself [unless you live in Brandon Manitoba]

Thanks alot, Im new to all this but I dont like to own something I dont know inside out..lol What rom would you recommand if any? Im just using the newest version of wm6.1 Ive downloaded. And I laughed when you said were you live, I drive through Manitoba every four months...Im in Alberta and Im from Northern Ontario...Thanks again for everything

what phone are you running?

It says he has a the HTC Touch if he is in Alberta he is on Telus or Rogers so hard to say if he is cdma or gsm.

This is one of the most KICKASS themes that i've found so far. I'm a newb to a lot of this stuff but i'm learning. The only problem I'm having is that my contacts/people screen doesn't load. All I get is "please wait..." and nothing else.

My device is:
HTC Tilt/Kaiser
WM 6.1
TouchFlo installed

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If not, this theme is too sweet to toss just because I can't get the contacts to show up.

huh dont know why that would be unless the images were missing.... have yout tried to apply a different theme and than this one again to see if that fixes the troubles you are experiencing?

Yup, I've tried a few other themes and this is the first one where the contacts/people section doesn't work. If anyone has a suggestion, i'll give it a shot. If not, it still awesome enough to keep.

This is the first I ever heard of that happening... wierd I would try reinstalling the touchflow folder agian.

did you use the cab installs or the zip files??? i used the cab yesterday and it worked like a charm

Im with Bell Mobility,
Im just curious if anyone else is having this problem too....I sign into msn messenger, but when i close the window it signs me out....Where as when in stock with no mods, msn messenger will stay signed in...???? Other then that is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!

If your on Bell I suggest OMJ's Rom I'm on MTS but my touch is running a Bell rom as MTS doesn't have the touch still........ frickn backwoods hillbilly province anyway.... hahaha His bell custom rom works sweet for me and no worries of letting the customizations run. As it won't hurt anything. As for the MSN thing??? don't know would have nothing to do with my skin tho...

This is for everyone.... MY SKINS IN NO WAY CHANGE HOW TOUCHFLOW2D WORKS if it stops working... its got nothing to do with my theme... I test the shit outa the things I release unlike most of the themes on XDA mine work properly, Even tho I have posted countless times on how to fix the SMS issues over there there is still frickn countless skins that crash it. That and parts of my alienware skin are now part of prolly 1/2 the skins posted on XDA. Grrrrrr.... I don't really have a huge issue but it sucks to see your hard work slapped into some P.O.S. project. at least use my stuff on something nice guys..... I have nothing agianst XDA in fact I visit often but hate when people use my stuff without first asking..... or giving credit ... not everyone.... , some have asked but anyway.... enough of my venting...lol

I have used 95 % of Probe's TOUCHFLOW2D themes and I've never had any probs out of them. I'm always shocked when people say they can't do this or do that with his themes. IMO if people would rad the instructions he post everything would work fine

I used the .cab file, uninstalled and reinstalled it twice AND installed PROBEX vista submission with the same issue. Everything EXCEPT for the people/contact section works like a charm.

I'll probably try re-flashing my phone with WM 6.1 and install everything again. Even with my 'issue', both themes rock out loud!!!

Missing Dialer in call background now skinned... it is attached here as a zip file just open the zip and move the image to your ppc windows folder and overwrite when prompted.

SIDE NOTE on my phone when in a call the phone overlays a white text over the buttons so I removed the text that was on the buttons totally if yours does not overlay white text over the button please give me a screenshot so I can skin this to work for you.

Again Credit to Poorly duck for his original skin I'm only adding to his fine work on this.

ProbeX, hey buddy...

Sorry to be the cause of future venting... but im using update 14, in a non touchflo2D rom (no2chem pre3) and installed everything like it stated on my Mogul (just like i had when i had my Touch and it worked) but the SMS crashing issue is still there, the only thing that changed between the last time i ran this theme and now is the device and rom (maybe thats it, cuz i installed this on a Touch and a Tilt and no issues) ughhh..... maybe i answered my own issue hahahaha....

Try replacing the people[contacts] "tiny icon + mask" with the stock blue people tiny icon + mask and report back to me if that fixed your issue.

i believe that you gave me the wrong icons buddy, these replace the people mask not sms. I still dont get whats crashing manila cuz i mostly use mobilematts and jdumes themes also and none have any issues... maybe its me :freak: are you running this theme on the off chance?? if you are, you can backup the working theme with M2DC and ill see if the the M2DC file works

Hi this is my first post here so hi all. I love your theme but i installed it on my HTC Prophet all looks fine and all tabs working except for the SMS Tab When i go on to SMS it Freezes on the screen ,If i navigate using my D-Pad it crashes Touch-Flow and i have to soft Reset can anyone help as i would love to keep this theme

Hi there, this is my first post on this website, and this is quite an impressive achievment. I just purchased an Alltel HTC 6800 and everything works fine except one minor detail. On the Home section of the touchflo screen where there is a numbered clock on the top of the screen, and a hand clock overlapping the numbered clock at the top as well. The only problem with this page, is that the numbered clock is in the wrong position. It is bunched up to the right side of the screen, and each number overlaps the other, so it's unreadable. The hand clock still over laps it, so i see what time it is. And even in the S2U2 the clock is the way it's supposed to be. It's weird, only the home screen has the glitch. Any advice would be appreciated.

do you happen to have screenshots that we could see of the phones screen? take a look at capsure if you need an app to take some.

thats cuz the digital clock cab dnt kick in. if you are using the latest manila versions then it wont work by just installing the .cab cuz the grafics arent in the same place as the .cab programs it to be placed. but what you can do is to add .m2dc to the name of the .cab and you can properly apply it with m2dc. and after it kicks in just replace the grafics with probex clock



ps. the stock images dnt work either ProbeX.... sms still crashes budd sorry, im using your Vista theme and no issues so no clue why it crashes... ima try to switch the xml with another to see if it fixes the issue. Let me know if you figure something out

As for the clock issue its because of the theme.xml file is for a version other then the one you are running.

find the coronel clock.cab and rename it, just add .m2dc to the name and the customizer will read it so you can apply it

i found a fix for the sms crashing issue, i moved the sms tab past the music tab with m2dc and it stopped crashing.... No other order worked cept this one


now i have to get over my whining on how i dont want it waaay over there lol

Should the .tsk make it have green bars or something? not gray? just checking.. Knowing me I will probably figure it out haha

The .tsk should be solid flat black bars... But I personaly use both green and black depends on what I feel like that day lol.
I'm actually reworking this theme slightly as there is a couple things I don't like about it.

I feel so dumb man lol, I upgraded to upgrade 20 and no crashing whatsoever so problem solved, update 14 on a mogul was the suspect lol.

I am actually running the update 20 now as well ... the Jade version and yes everything works nice and smooth for me as well even fixed the album issue with drawing the lines as you drag your finger. I also like the multiple avatars option that was not in the others.

New version is up based on update 20 with a new clock[removed the analog one and made it bigger and better] I will upload 2 new .tsk files for this tommorow.

I finally found out why I couldn't see the windows folder now how can I get to replace the files?It tells me I need permission to do this!BTW I'm running Vista Ultimate 32bit
