So I spent almost an hour with Sprint Tech Support and I wasn't able to get data to work on my phone. So I'm going to try out a few more custom ROMS and see if I can get it to work and if I cant, I guess I have to go stock :crying:

The only main problem I've had with this ROM is that on the weather tab, it usually sets the current temp to the "low" temp. so if it's 40 out, the low is 40 and the high is whatever. and in an hour, it'll be 55, so the low is now 55 and the high is whatever. and it was 9pm and of course dark outside for at least 3 hours but the tab said "Mostly Sunny" and had a sun on it.

less problems than with the Kaos BETA ROM but then again, not as many changes to it.

hey there i did this and the internet works... but to send picture mail or do weather updates, i get a error code that my vision name/password is incorrect.. I Have talked to tech support and ADVANCE tech support to resolve the issue.. but still cant resolve the issue.. they told me they are going to pass this over to there engineers...

1. is this a issue that alot of people are having?
2. Should i avoid the sprint enigineers if they call?

naw you dont have to avoid them.... just dont tell them you are running a custom rom or they wont help you..... but anyways if you hit cancel to that message does it update the weather and such as it should? if so a hard reset may fix that and make the error stop showing up.

naw no troubles and jsut got it back up and running since i had my password as being wrong so i had sprint reset it and it works great :>

I honestly have NO IDEA what you are talking about. I have been snapping pictures all day yesterday and pics are coming out AMAZING! I think it maybe your lense on the camera giving you trails.

how come on the no2chem rom it works fine it the rest of the roms is fantastic but if you come up with any ideas i would appriciate your help
its just sluggish when i look on the screen its all blurry until a few secs after i stop moving it and that makes it difficult to take pics cause my 2 year old is never still lol thanks

i don't understand the issue you guys are referring to, I've had this Rom since the release and haven't had this problem...sounds like you may have issues with your network, or maybe even the phone....my data connections have worked from the get-go....is it all the time or just when it's hooked up to the computer and active synced?

What kind of connections? the reason I ask is I just got my Pro, and was concidering installing this one... do you mean wlan connections? cause i currently use them on my mogul for my work files (a-hem*cough*music) so i dont have to load up my phone. I was just about to flash my virginal Pro when i read this... :-)

:lol: That user states that he didnt have data after he flashed this ROM, but he is the only one stating that. If you get data on your phone NOW and then unlock and flash to this ROM you will be fine. (like many others)

what do you mean when you scroll? i have been using this rom since day one and have only had touchflo crash on me twice and thats when i was adding apps to the programs tabs and thats normal with almost all custom roms.... so could you please expound some more on your troubles.

Yeah, I'll try to describe it. So, lets say I scroll over to the programs tab, and go to "All Programs". If I'm scrolling through that list of programs, my TouchFlo 3D will just restart. Same thing with contacts. If I'm scrolling through my contacts, it'll just reset the TouchFlo 3D occasionally. It also occured once while I was just scrolling through the tabs at the bottom of the screen.

Does that help? I appreciate any help you can provide.

yeah the programs tab when adding only is a known trouble with all custom roms.... on the contacts and the program when going through them i and i dont think anyone else has faced these troubles and i have no clue what could be causing them besides application conflict.

and taking you back to the homescreen sounds like the app conflict again..... are you using quick menu or anything?

are you using the stripped version... If you arent... I cooked i contacts in by default the ROM uses that app for contacts and it DOES NOT reset.... Havent expierenced any issues mentioned besides the one when adding apps in the Touchflo3D programs.

i'm getting a error "G66: There was an error trying to register your phone."

and when i try to do a profile update i get "Error Code: 407"

any one else having this issue?

no sir.... it sounds like your data is messed up... wait a few mins.... if not .... try ##DATA# and change the zero to a 1 in the first option..

the "data" setting is set to 1, and my user name is filled in also. I'm able to surf the net and get weather updates but not able to send picture mail??

not able to use the Update profiler either?

any ideas?

call sprint and ask them to update your picture mail password.

this problem occurred for me on the first few minutes of every ROM, and then eventually corrected itself...did you set the page pool, have you soft reset/hard reset?

but i have hard reset the phone after i updated the rom, and a few more times after that to see if it fix's the problem.. and a few soft reset.. and still picture mail not working

all all a personal preference...go back between the two and read the features they bpth ahve and you decide. The threads show everything you need to know about the rom's

i know that but as far as bugs being fixed and stuff like that. is this release much different in that part.

Actually, I think they are the same. He released the beta 4 for testers, and was satisfied with it, so he officially released it. Thats, if I remember correctly.

use diamond tweaks and inside there you can turn that notice off so it will work :> as long as you arent using the stripped version you will have the application dpreinstalled on this rom.

Dash im still having that youtube problem i did what you told me to do on the diamond tweaks and it still will not let me use youtube it does the same thing and i try reflashing it Is there anything else you know what i could do to fix this. do you have the youtube cab file so i can try reninstalling it.
