going from the diamond to the pro today when i unbox it later when i get home the first thing i am doing is putting your rom on it i was a juicy fan for ever on the diamond cant wait to find a new rom that i like on the pro you guys are great and i love the changes you make to the phones to make them a better more useful part to my every day life THANK YOU TO ALL THE COOKS OUT THERE FOR MAKING MY DAY BETTER

Yeah I after like 5 min it finally worked, it was weird.

Do you or anyone else know if this ROM has FM radio enabled as well as the texts message "sent' prompt disabled?

??? What do you mean? Custom Roms dont come with radios. We do have the latest Radios in the rom section available. Ya just flash em like a reg rom, except it doesnt wipe your device.

i use the bell rom (canadian) on my sprint touch pro and i love it...... signal is great and the battery life is amazing.

THIS IS AN AMAZING ROM! If you are reading this looking for a ROM to flash your TP with! This so far, this is the one! Great colorful awesome interface, great speed. Man after I flashed this from the stock ROM the difference in performance was amazing. I strongly recommend this ROM.!!!!

And with a couple of extra .cab files to touch up somethings! I feel my phone is good to go for right now! And yours will be too!

I guess I am confused on the "radio's" of phones....

There are FM radio's..(does this ROM have that)

and then like the actual phone radio......which I am not sure what that is?

Ok, the phones radio is the software it uses to send and receive the signal for phone calls and internet and such. As far as FM radio is concerned, as far as I know, it does not work on the TP as of yet. I believe the required hardware isn't included with the TP. I know that some people at PPC Geeks are workin on some kind of work around for it though.

The Pro hasthe hardware for the FM radio, the FM API cannot communicate with the tuner chip due to a SPL lock out. its a software issue... i have the pro schmatics and everything hardware wise is there :D

it has to be there its embedded into the bluetooth chipset. and its the same as the diamonds. and it uses the common ground and pin 10 on the multi port as the Fm antenna. which according to the schematics is there.

Quick question, I just got a new touch pro, but I have not done the esn swap yet from my previous phone. If I flash the pro with this Rom before I do my esn swap will it effect anything when I do swap from my old phone?

Why would you do it before activating it anyway. I would activate it first and make sure everything works. Plus, this way you can really get an appreciation for the performance and battery life difference that custom roms offer.

My old phone was gone for the past 2 days, so I had to wait to get it back to swap the esn. So while waiting I have been playing with the touch pro, and decided to throw some ROMs on to see how the performance was.

So you are saying I need to flash back to sprint stock before I call and esn swap.

nah... no need too flash back to sprint to activate it as long as you can access the programing menu via the ## codes. if the roms supports ## codes then you should be fine.

This may help someone help me. What ive done is unlock phone and then installed Juggalo tp rom-sprint. I had original rom from sprint. Do i need to update radio or something cause i cant get bluetooth to work. Thanks

i myslef and many others have found that the telus radio sems to work the best out of all the available for the touch pro. (same goes with diamond in my opinion.)

is anyone having battery issues with this rom. I pull it off the charge at 6:15am and by 3:00pm I am needing to charge it (10-5% battery life).

any help would be appreciated.

nope i get GREAT battery life with this rom...... i can go 24 hours with about 2 hours of talk time, 200 texts, 20 minutes internet browsing, and some other tasks and tinkering through the day and would still have around 40% battery life left... did you make sure that you turned beam off and also bluetooth when you arent using it since both are a big battery drain? and also did you make sure that you took the battery out for 1 minute after the flash and hard resetted to make sure all was clear in the memory of the old phone pagepool wise?

thanks DASH... I did what you said. today with less talk time came home with 80% battery life. do you have to remove battery and hard reset ever time I change ROMS? or is that only for pagepool reset?

The RUU is the RUU folder you just extracted.......

Ok there is a RUU folder you need to put the RUU file in. But dont even worry about that, because this ROM is for the PRO not the Diamond. There is a link for the RUU folder in the How to flash thread. Download that, and you use it over and over.

dude it says in the title tp aka touch pro and all through the thread... you could try the juicy diamond version since thats pretty popular.... but i wouldnt jump into flashing roms until you have cabs, exe, .theme files, etc mastered. you would just be losing yourself.

I was able to download this ROM with no issues. are you getting some sort of error? you have to be more specific if you want some help. The link is coming directly from PPCGEEKS ftp server..

when I click to download it loads to about half way then stops and the message says the link is missing. Thats why I taught was my firewall cause every body loads it no problem. I just need some other eyes on this been at it for a while and got tunnel vison
