i like the mogul better simply because it has a keyboard and the touch seems kinda small, i would have lost it.

I have a touch and i love it, my friends with moguls i envy their ability to play emulation games with their keyboards, my phone runs high capacity apps much quicker with my 400mhz of power :)

the mogul and the touch both have the 400 cmhz processor..... the only difference is the ram which is doubles on the touch

main i got both of them right now and i would have to say that the mogul is surely better than the touch.

i've had the mogul for about 8 months now and I gotta say that I think its way better than the touch...the keyboard is a must for me and I like the interface on it, and thanks to smj my mogul has the sickest apps...the only problem i've had and i'm not sure how many others have had the same problem but the stock battery only lasts about 4 hours for me

I had the Mogul. It was crashing on me a lot and the keyboard crapped out on me. It either repeats the keys or I have to press them several times to get it to work. I installed a couple of custom roms but wasn't satisfied with it. I even updated it to the news ROM which was working beautifully. Its also too BULKY and slow sometimes (even though I bought it for how fast it is). Now I have to the touch and everyday I discover something new. I haven't yet installed something that doesn't work on it. I decided to go with the touch and no keyboard because I didn't want to experience the same problem I had with the Mogul. 4GB is more than enough for all my apps and my music, with so many other features, I don't think I will be listening to music all the time. I think I am in LOVE with my new TOUCH DIAMOND from Sprint. Ahhhhh LOVE at first TOUCH.

The mogul was my first choice because of the keyboard. However, moving from the Treo 700W (not wx) I chose the touch based on the extra memory. I was tired of only being able to load 1 or 2 apps at a time.

I have to say that other than the fact that I hate the on screen keyboard, I love the touch. I don't do a lot of texting though. If you do a lot of texting or anything else that requires keying in text, then you'll probably want to go with the mogul.

hahahahaa great choice but the memory card slot isnt the only difference between the phones...... of course you got the keyboard, the vga outlet, more hard buttons , and some other small changes.

I called sprint and they told me i could have the touch and they would pay me the difference. But you guys are kinda making me wanna stay with the mogul.... Oh the decisions!!!!!!!! What you think guys? I was going to grab the 4g memory card for the touch and call it a day, good plan or not?

i would say its a great plan if you dont need the keyboard or the wifi..... the rev a is fast enough for me :> also you will love the touches expanded ram :>

Yeah, i'v had the touch for a while now and am loving it. Personally the extra internal memory is the big plus for me as i have a ton of docs a such, and i also like to use it

for games and such apps, videos etc... so for me the memory was the big seller. I was originally leaning toward the mogul b/c i do text, edit docs on the fly, email and I.M. alot, but i find that the touchscreen qwerty's arent that bad w/ a lil practice and finding the right one for you!

The only thing that bugs me is that the onscreen keyboard will pop up in your face, when u dont want it and block what looking at... but I took care of that with NULL KEYBOARD BABY!!!

Well since I upgraded back in August from my Samsung MM-A900 to the Touch, I have not looked back! I just love the thin sleek design of the Touch. The only thing that made me think about the Mogul was the keyboard (I do text a lot ;x) But after seeing the Swcked Full Screen Keyboard and learning about the internals I was sold on the Touch.

This site is great, I have used a bunch of the freeware you guys share to make my phone even better. I think the next step is to flash to a custom rom and get it over with. I am still on the Stock 6.1. I guess I am just a little... apprehensive... of flashing to a custom rom since I have never done it before. I don't even know what the differences of Kaos or BJs ROMs for the Touch are. I use my phone to tether online (props to Dash for the Internet Sharing Hack .cab btw :D ) and I don't want to lose my internet connection. I'll make up my mind soon.......

the rom difference is based on user...my roms for example have less stuff.so that the user decides what he wants on his device....just what you need to work...big jew had programs.....but check build logs...it will tell you whats in what..read the threads...then decide for your self...its basic user need...

ROMs are based off making something that YOU FEEL has the best performance tweaks, battery tweaks, LOOK (or not), THE BEST WAY YOU feel or think the device should perform. OUR ROMS are completly different from one anothers. NIGHT and DAY! YOU CHOOSE...OR NOT!

I went from the Instinct to the Mogul...the guy at the Sprint store was a little confused on why I would be trading my Instinct for the Mogul...I like the sliding key board. I was always pushing the wrong letter on the touch screen while texting! Plus, the Mogul's ability to navigate the internet is like night and day compared to the Samsung. Plus being able to customize the Mogul is awesome...LOVE IT!! Now just waiting for the Pro...

what are you waiting on than??? its released already asnd you didnt grab it up with the rest of us lmao..... enjoy your mogul its a great phone and you already have it better than the verizon touch pro users hahahahaha

Im new to the ppc stuff and didnt know you could mod the phone until I came across one of your videos (Dashs) on youtube…I figure Ill do all my modding on the Mogul, since Im new to all this stuff, and once Im comfortable then Ill switch to the Pro (once its in stock). But I have to say, this site is awesome…I love my phone more than ever. Thanks

Pretty sure with the upgrade it can now read the bigger sd cards. If not, we got the hack that can do it. I was runnin a 8 gig when I had my pro

I have not been on this site since i first got from overseas.. Anywayz I had the mogul for about 9 months I just upgraded to the Diamond because its smaller that the touch pro. Let me tell you the Diamond is better than the mogul..

yep. I gave up my Sprint Instinct for the Mogul. Wifey has the Touch Pro and she hates it. To bad sorry cant give you the mogul back. Anyway I choose the Mogul over the Touch any day.

yea, and I've had BOTH, Alltel replaced my mogul with a touch! which I have now. I like the size and weight of it better than the mogul, I'm getting used to the PCM Keyboard and all, it's way more responsive, I'm running the Dette Rom touchflo 2D and it's awesome!!! I didn't like the phone at first, but like the others have said, the larger processor and memory really help with installing loads more stuff, and the phone NOT lagging at all. Also I like that it DOES NOT have ALL those buttons on the outside edges of the phone, I was always hitting those everytime I picked up my phone with the mogul. My mogul started lagging, unresponsive, screen would wig out on me almost everyday when receiving calls, soft resetting 4-5 times a day....on and on...........so I really had NO choice and Alltel wouldn't budge on giving me the touch pro, which is what I want!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personal perference I say, but I do like the touch! I think it's harder for men though with the keyboard thing, b/c us women can use our nails for navigation and keyboard typing!!!!!! LOL
