[NEW] Throttle Lock v06

Throttle Lock v 0.6



Prerequisites

- WM5 / 6 / 61. Device.
- Net.CF 2.0 or 3.5 installed
- 340 KB of storage space.
- 1 MB of free mem.
- Will work on any device screen! It's tested to work in qVGA, wqVGA and VGA.



Instalation

copy the CAB file to your device and execute it from there ;). Then softreset.
Note that when you first start the software you will be asked for the pattern, but if you already had a previous version installed, the patter will be the one fo the previous version. If at any time you want to reset the pattern, you can delete the lockcode.txt file located on the ThrottleLock directory (you can acces that file by using ActiveSync).

Configuration

There's a tool called ThrottleLockConfig at StartMenu programs where you can change several parameters...
Skins

The app is fully skinable. You can easyly develop new skins by copying the Default skin to another folder inside the skins folder and replacing the png graphics with the ones you like. You can also change font's and spacings by modifying skin.xml file.
Also the app suports multilanguaje. Spanish, English, French, German and Swedish translations are included (though the configuration tool is only available in english at the moment)... To translate the app to your languaje just copy the texts.txt file to a file called texts_XXX.txt where XXX is the 3 chars ISO code for your languaje and then translate the texts inclued in that file. Respect the line orders and cariage returns, also take care to keep the UTC16 encoding. If you have a translation file and want to share it don't heistate posting it at the forum! I will include it in further releases.

Ok so i got this installed and change the skin and all that but im having issues wit the time. It showing in military time and not standard. For example right now my phone clock shows 6:35pm but if i lock the phone it shows 18:35. its wired cuz when i first installed this it show fine.

Edit the skin.xml file located in your theme folder. Put it on your [COLOR=blue! important][COLOR=blue! important]desktop[/COLOR][/COLOR], open it with notepad, and change the HH to hh or h

Does anyone else seem to have trouble answering calls, not sure if it is throttle lock or something else interfering but i only get caller ID half the time and when i had slide to answer on it would sometimes freeze up and not answer the call and now with the slide off it still freezes up and i miss calls every now and then. Im running the atr tflow3d rom on the touch pro thanks for the help guys

do you have anything else like s2u2 or any other slide app installed that could have setting to turn caller id or something off? or even an additional contacts program besides the stock on the rom.

no I only have throttle lock and whatever contact manager is in the atr rom if its not the same as stock.
I take it this is not normal, I have uninstalled and reinstalled throttle lock and hard reset once but still no luck. I also noticed that after i unlock with throttle lock it will be on a screen that i have already closed like sometimes it gets stuck on the phone call that i had before, or every time i unlock it will go to the com manager after i have used it and closed it thanks for all the help. Im not aware of another lock app that would work for my phone and not have a bunch of bugs so i hope to get this figured out

ATR has slide 2 answer cooked in, I find that slide 2 answer and throttle lock dont play well together.

no since it is cooked in you cant uninstall.

The newer verison of S2U2 works great for me never freaks out on me. And now it shows your texts too when you get them !!!

You would have to a rom with 6.5 an tlf3d2 in it too get the lock. Dont think there is a single app for it.

what do you mean locking up? cant you press the power button and get the screen back on?

During a call if the screen goes black and i push the power button to turn it back on, throttle lock activates and i have to enter my pattern in the middle of a phone call if i want to, lets say use the speaker phone or search my contacts while still on a call.

Turn off "lock on wake". Or something like that. It should be an option in the config.
