I know I should be asking this on thread i found it on, but its a pretty popular rom and the fact that the thread moves so fast, my profiles a noob, i never get a response. Has anybody downloaded this rom and got the flash to STAY working. It works for me after a fresh flash forever till i soft reset the phone. Not installing a single thing, not even my pim, it stops working. the window opens up, but the ball just spins and my internet connection stops. any body got this to work, or is it just not possible to get flash IN OPERA?

I might be wrong about this but I dont think Opera is like Skyfire and has flash built into so you can watch video!!!!!

Well its possible. It works at first. I can sit there and play different videos all day right from youtube. once i reset it, its over. never works again. Unless i clear storage again.

works fine for me, slow to load but fine... i dont do anthing special to make it work either so im not sure why i wont work for you, did you take out the battery and hard reset post flash??

also remember that flash lite 3.1 means flash 8 so any site that used flash 9 or higher wont work

yes i have. flashed it twice over even. pulled the battery both times and did a clear storage. it always plays at first, and stops after a reset. now im really frustrated. ill keep tryin.

Oh... post flashing..?? no. havent tried that. you pull the battery right before you flash and after? as soon as you see "sync" run new rom? never heard of that, but ill definitly try it.

i have never heard of this problem myself...... at the end of that thread you will see a link to the original thread over at ppcgeeks.... i would check that out and see if it has been discussed or ask mightymike in that thread and he might be able to help you out if it is a problem with the rom and not your side.....

its been a hit or miss for some to get it working. mine currently doesn't work although it was earlier. mightymike hasn't formally addressed the issue since some are saying it works and some not.

Holly crud. I think that worked. pulled the battery before and after the flash and it worked. Reset and it still works. Thank you so much. I asked the same question over there 4 times and nobody even responded. Well see if it still works in the morning. Im callin it a night.

k. Woke up this morning and it no longer works. Its using flashlite 3.1. is there another flash to use possibly? Im trying the same video i played last night and the ball just spins now. What could possibly be changing without me installing or changing anything?

mmmm no clue than and as stated above after i looked over there too its just one of those things that works for some and doesnt for others..... prolly depends how you use your phone and what you have added on it.....

I feel like it may be an issue with Oprea and flash working togeher... an not necessarily a rom... It seems ive been hear random complaits regarding the too to play well together, probbably having something to do with the multiple builds of both Opera and flash player... It's to the point, that I dont even bother w/ flash in Opera...

Ever herd of Skyfire Jntus, Havent come across a video i couldnt play through that browser... all different fie conversion, and if your just a basic youtube watcher, there is always the youtube app...

Yeah i have the youtube app. Its not a huge deal. im just one of those guys who has to figure everything out. I gotta a log way to go i guess. I want to watch like nba vids, and cnn, espn, nothingtoxic no biggie. what does everybody prefer? Ive never heard of jntus. And I hear skyfire looks weird cause its for qvga.

sorry... I meant jnuts, mispelled your name...lol

Skyfire is cool, and there is a vga version... it is a lil pixalated the farther out you are, but that only a birds eye veiw of the entire webpage etc... as you zoom in everything clears up... and vids show and play well/smooth...

as far as figuring that Opera/Flash issue out, i fear that wont be resolved until Opera developers come to a final resolution, and release of the opera 9.5 browser, fully stabalized; and probably with the appropriate flash player built it... until the, itll always be hit or miss in th users hands...IMO
