Hey i just installed this ROM but now it my computer does not detect the device, What's wrong lol i want to take it off, I've done a soft reset and restarted pc and did a hard reset as well.

what do you mean its not recognizing? are you stuck at a certain screen? did you take the battery out and hard reset after flash, do you have a cdma diamond as your device? did you unlock, did you go through the whole flash process?

Okay i had mysteyrom4 i believe, flashed to sprint stock rom as suggested then i flashed this rom into it and yes it's unlocked it's just not detecting the device, it charges thru the computer via usb just won't detect it.

Oh and yes it installed successfully i have a sprint htc touch diamond it just won't allow it to be detected when i connect it via usb.

have you tried to make a new partnership? have you made sure firewall of virus scan isnt blocking? you can always flash from your storage card and go to a different rom if you like.

right but you just use card reader to drag over there..... and you are choosing activesync from the list when you plug in correct? and look in my signature below and you will find out how to do from storage card in the how to flash thread.

wait dash no when i connect my usb it does not show up on my phone with the options to do anything, no disk drive nor active sync or phone modem, that's one of the things i meant and btw when i look at your sig i see notting lol only " Wckediden supporter " or something like that.

than you did somethign wrong or bad flash/download of rom.... than go to your control panel and in the options you willl find a tab to click that will enable all signatures......

I'm sorry to bug okay so my guess is you want me to follow this steps? " Flash from microSD Card (Thanks to MadlyAlive):

1. Make sure you backup anything that is necessary to your day to day operations! At a minimum, please perform an ActiveSync to Outlook or your Exchange server prior to flashing!
2. Rename the custom ROM NBH file from RUU_Signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh
3. Copy RAPHIMG.nbh to the root of your microSD Card.
4. Hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously. While you're still holding those 2 buttons, press the reset button with your stylus.
5. When your Touch Pro tells you to do so, press the power button to begin the flash process. If you do not get the message to press the power button to flash, there is a mistake in the name of the NBH file or you do not have the file at the root of your microSD card.
6. When flashing is complete, perform a soft reset. "?


If not how else can i exactly fix this because i download the ROM correctly, didn't disconnect usb till it installed, as soon as it installed my usb stopped being detected.

you will want to do that but you dont have the raphael aka touch pro you have the diamond aka vicotor.... soyou will want to name VICTIMG.nbh and you will do that from your internal storage after you format the internal memory.

Okay i know I'm being a pain in the ass but okay i will do a format via clear storage correct? and how exactly do i get the file into my internal storage without my pc? Do i require a Exchange server for that? I'm sorry I'm new to this now lol

I'm also having that issue on my diamond (sprint), the rom works perfectly, but I cannot sync, connect or be seen by my desktop after resetting both (including clear storage) in every way possible.

Charges, just no connections beyond that. I tried changing the usb to pc settings, no dice, still no connections and only charges.

Hey owenwarner did you install this exact ROM as well... I'm pretty ticked at the moment lol i can't seem to fix it..... oh yeah and i can't seem to find a way to get the rom file into my storage -.-

This exact rom from this download, flashed fine, install went great, even reflashing went perfect. I'm just completely unable to connect to my phone once it's installed from any computer, vista 32/64 or windows 7.

And yes, I am unable to find a way to connect to it, so even reflashing to something else, or default seems uh... an uphill battle.

EDIT: Will connect in the bootloader, so it has to be the rom, will update with more once I figure out more.

Hey owen how do you enter the bootloader?

It won't let you actually do any file transfers, but it will let you install drivers/acknowledge it works...

Power button + volume down button while the phone is starting, basically the same way you would have installed it, but no back button. Back button starts the triggered boot loader, which in-turn, allows you to install the .nbh... which we did, and now we're :( .

ahhh i thought you meant the bootloader from a RUU and mmmmm let's try to find a fix >.< someone in ppc said you can flash thru it mmm.. I'll let you know what i find

edit: owen.. i just enter bootloader and opened up another rom and open the update file flashing another rom :] try that :]

How to fix this.....

Step 1... enter the bootloader

step 2... Have another ROM file ready like if you were flashing into another ROM.

step 3... While in bootloader screen open up the ROM folder with the new ROM you want to flash and open up " ROMUpdateUtility " file and follow steps as if you were flashing a new ROM :] enjoy i figure this out thanks to owen and some reading X]

For everyone in this thread having issues, flash to another rom. I was running MR5 for my TP and I flashed this rom for a co-worker on her diamond. About 20 minutes later it crashed, and the phone had to be flashed back to stock.

So in short, flash back to stock then find another rom. For some reason the victor rom is having issues.
