i did an index search and i seached 5 pages of freeware programs but i couldnt finde anything for making my smartphone a tv remote. i found some on

but i only tried one and it didnt work and most everything here works fine. but uh yea i dont have a name or devoloper or website but can you get a tv remote app for smartphone. mines the htc touch (vogue) or maybe you have one and i missed it?


and one more thing i would like to have. which also doesnt have a publisher or anything would be a remote for my car. i have a keyless entry system and a keyless starter system with an alarm and there both 2 different makes and models and i was wondering if some one new how to make my phone in to the wireless keys becuase i really dont want to remote buttons on my key chain. one for doors and one for starting the car? see where im coming from?

and last thing for this post.....voice recognition processing remote so maybe i could just talk to the phone and it will start with a special key code seding a wireless electronic signal to the cars system. just like the buttoms but voice activated.

and i will gladly and more likely would like to give you donations one day when i have my transmission fixed and may of a few thousand dollar fines and stop living off hot dogs lol.

yea maybe like 6 months maybe 6 years but i will surely donate when i have the money.

hope you can find something like these programs or if you can make that would be sweet as hell to thats bad ass. but imma take my truck in to the shop so ill check back later thanx.

well first of all 4 pages of apps isnt anything since those are just the newest 100 apps released out of over 4000 that we have here to offer. and the search feature works nicely when using keywords liek you would on gogle for instance remote control. and for the car remote the people on youtube are all lying and its not that hard to have an extra flob.... the infared beam signal is way to weak and on a different frequency than your vehicle so its been proven to not work. for the remote control for your tv there isnt one that will work on the wm 6 operating system fro ppc's... and there is no way to remote start your vehicle either due to the frequencies being totally different.

thanks..that is so weird. i searched with a bunch of different possibilities by typing "pocket shield" "pocketshield" ..i even misspelled shield on purpose to see if there was a typo and even searched using 'entire result', no result came up for me. that is strange.

yeah when nothing is coming up try putting a * after the search, dont know why search does that sometimes so for this search PocketShield* and it will come up

Yes. I fly around a 737 and it is always nice to have a program that I can easily look at the weather on the way to the airport. I used to have a program that was called Pilot My-Cast. It was a great program. I had a cracked version that I used on my A900 and it worked great. When I upgraded to the Touch and now Touch Pro it no longer works. So I am in search......

Thanks again for keeping your eyes open. I know Dash was also doing the same. I really appreciate your guys help! This really is a great community.

guys please try to crack mobitv for touch pro and voice on the go. They are very good programs. I have tried swcked tv but its not that good since it doesn't have cnn and it keeps stoping every few minutes. the mobi tv was great. the voice on the go is perfect and what it does is you speak to your phone and it writes emails sms etc...

thats called visual voicemail and venumdx says it the best below:
I know dash has gone over the fact that there isnt much available but I figured I would just give a little WHY THE EFF NOT?! info. lol. the way visual voicemail works, say on the instinct...is that it actually doesn't use Sprint's Voicemail service at all, the voicemails are kept on a seperate server that was intended for the instinct only. The reason you can play, ffwd, rwd your voicemails is because they are just audio files put on the server. Regular Sprint voicemail works as a call service, so you actually have to call it and it just plays a recording, so no direct access to the files. So this leaves us with two choices, either A) make a program that overrides the voicemail and stores locally on the phone, or make a program that overrides the voicemail and stores them on a seperate server all togther that isnt supported by Sprint. :/
