Stock Sprint TP ROM

Okay, I may get yelled at for not searching, but I have been searching, honest.

Went through the dozen plus pages of TP posts, and haven't found it.

I just need the original ROM for the TP from Sprint.

I have the ROM that I loaded, and hooked it up with the USB and it goes through the process fine, but the internet won't work.

Sprint says that I need to send it back to Asurion, so they can send me a new one. Just got this one Monday.

Anybody?

Will keep trying later, gotta get back to work now.

as for the internet not working I'm pretty sure its not the phone its just some certain setting thats wrong. have your tried going into the phone settings with the ## codes? and changing the profile to 1?

hit ##DATA# (##3282#) and check if active profile is on 1. if not get your msl code and change it

Yes, the tech support guy, we went through, and the user name wasn't there and the 255 and the 168 and the little boxes were totally blank.

Went through and filled all that in and did the hard resets and soft resets and all of that. NADA.

well I had the same problem with my pro back in November when i got it. tried everything also and talked to tech support. All I did was wait like a day and it magically started working. Some techs had told me it takes a while for the data to kick in after activation because of provisioning. just a thought

Yeah, the tech I talked to said it was the phone because the provisioning or reprovisioning shouldn't have cleared all those boxes. The phone's IP was missing or something like that. We went through a lot of screens, and even after I explained that the web access had worked and then quit, he said that it was a bug in the phone. I dunno. Hubby was complaining about the Touch Pro buttons being too small, so he may stay with the Mogul for a while longer. I don't know what happened. I know that when I set it up, loaded the ATR, and the theme that he wanted, it was all working. He played with the phone, loading pictures and ringtones and stuff like that. The next thing I knew, he was complaining that the web wasn't working. Asked him what he did, and he swears he didn't do anything major, just pics and sounds. I want to believe him, but this isn't the first time a phone was working fine and then he played with it and then it didn't work. Can you think of a way to lock a phone internally so you need a password to access OS and stuff like that? I need sleep, kids going to get up in a bit to go to school, then I get to take a nap. Thanky for the assistance. Want to mark this one solved?

well there is a bug with the ATR rom that when you have bluetooth on it wont access any data (evdo or wifi) till you turn bluetooth off.( i had that problem)

well, maybe not solved. It loaded the leaked stock rom, but upon reboot, it shows the screenshots from the previous ROM. when I go to rename the welcomehead, it won't let me. I think I need a nap. It's going back to asurion, so I guess it's the microwave for me. waaaa

yeah the creators of atr have it that way......just overwrite the bootscreen or you can install a different radio and that should clear it up without troubles.

if i have to take my phone in because of keyboard problems should i go with a sprint radio as well as the stock rom?

just flash stock rom and itll automatically flash you to stock radio as well... and yes i say u should, because some tech ppl may not may not know or care to tell the difference... but there diffinatly some who do... and they will have no hesitation in penalizing you for it...

yuppers anytime you bring it in for repairs always flash back to stock

just go to the supported rom section, and you will find it there.... is a sticky by big jew. if you cant see it, than you just dont have enough privilages yet...
