Canalys: Apple leads the way in global Q4 smartphone shipments
 An estimated total of 330 million smartphones were shipped in Q4 2024, with Apple leading all brands with a 23% market share. The combined smartphone market saw 3% rise compared to Q3 2024 and rose 7% on the yearly basis with an estimated 1.22 billion smartphones shipped in 2024. Apple solidified its leading position thanks to growth in emerging markets throughout Southeast Asia and India. Samsung came in second place with a 16% market share in Q4, while Xiaomi rose up to third place with a 13% market share.
