Extracting Files from a UMD using a 2.6 PSP
1. Use the GTA loader to start up FileAssistant004
2. Once File Assistant has fully loaded, hit right on the dpad once 3. Keep hitting L util the word "disc" on the bottom turns red, then hit R 4. after hitting R, keep hitting L until you get to the word "copy" turns red on the bottom 5. Make sure you copy UMD_DATA.bin first 6. Plug in the AC adaptor and hit R to copy PSP_GAME and let it sit. This will take a long time to copy, but be paitent. When it's fninshed, the files will be sitting in ms0:/ You might get an error at the end but don't worry, that's normal. It doesn't appear to be able to extract all the files, but it's a good first step! |
