I've had some problems only with the youtube app, it freezes if I pause a vid and my cell goes off, when i turn it back on, it's just non-responsive so i have to do a soft reset. Battery fully charged and running windows messenger(always running) and maybe the youtube app about 5 times(throught the day) last for about 6 hours, unless you don't use your phone at all I can see people getting 24 hours, but 36 hours I think is BS(who said that anyway?).

that would be me. and if you read my post my phone sat idle most of the time, i received about 30 texts total. set out about 10 texts. and made one phone call.

that would make sense if you didn't use your phone, except for that one phone call, I can see that happening, but saying it lasts for 36 hours will have people not paying attetion at the rest of your words and just jump into conclusions that this rom has that good of battery efficiency(only the'll think with average use) lol.

well if someone decided not to pay attention to my posts and "read" into what i've said, then they need to pay attention, instead of jumping to the last post and running with it like some other sites, who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty. That's why i try to keep my posts short and to the point. But I would hope the calibur of members here would read all the posts in a thread to make an informed decision. But i guess i must be at fault at some point, since I'm at home recovering from surgery. Remember kids, Promethazine, Cephalixin, and Hydrocodone are your friends. :glasses1:

If it were me, I'd flash back stock. run a hardreset. Flash back to v120, remove the battery after the flash, run set up, then hard reset again.

also what radio are you running? I'm running v1.11.00.

I flashed over from Mighty Rom 5, which was already WM6.5. But, I flashed back to stock with this rom from ppcgeeks:

this resets you phone back to stock, including the radio. What I did was flashed to this rom, hardreset. flashed the new radio, flashed to this rom, took out the battery, ran the setup, then hard reset.

Don't know if this is a rom issue but I can't call sprint as this is a custom rom. My question is would there be something in the rom that would allow me to not be able to get text messages from some of my contacts? I can text them but I do not receive theres even days later I never get there reply to me or I don't get there text at all whether I start the text or not. Any help is greatly appriciated.

I used same ROM from Same SD card on both my wifes and mine and hers works and mine don't. I get text from most of them and two of them are on AT&T I just thought I would ask if it was an issue I love the rom and it seems to be the most stable of all I have tried and I run the stuffed rom and I have to have sprint Nav. I travel quite a bit with work.

did you hard reset your and take the battery out after the successful flash? do you two have the same proveder?

Both mine and my wife's phone are both on the Sprint network got the phones the same day. I flashed them the same day I flashed it just now I took out battery for 5 Min. I did a hard reset, took battery out for another 5 min. I used same SD Card to flash both and I did mine 1st then hers so I know the flash was good. Thais is exactly what it says. My phone has the SsS rom V0119s and I have been waiting on the new V0120s but had not been posted yet. could be a defective model..... i would lock and flash back to the stock rom and see if it still does it... if so go and get it changed out..... you can call spdrint customer support and tell them whats up also just dont tell them your on a custom rom, it really doesnt make a difference since you have the update profile and all.

The stock rom on here ok to put back on it? Is it the latest stock rom up to date? I called sprint and they said it was on there end and had an engineer working on it and it would take 36hrs to fix it and this was the 1st step to fixing it.

Thanks DASH I will, and I have the stock rom reloaded back on it and I also ttok battery out for 5min and did hard reset after I did flash of stock rom and I still cant get a message from them. Dang I guess I get a new one if they can't find a solution for the trouble.

i would try doing a ##3282# on the phone then go to Edit -> then type in ur MSL then if Active profile is set to 0 change it to 1 and then press ok and the phone will reset and you should be good once u do a data update :/

You need to install the cabs, the new Tachi Dialer doesn't work properly and the first cab takes care of that, im now sure what's the second one for. I know a new version will be relased pretty soon so sit tight and get familiar with this rom for now :)

naw not the same ones and all.... some users may but just look at the changelogs and the registry changes (if given) and you will find all the changes and hacks made to this rom as well as what kitchen it was developed off of.

I did that but is ask for an unlock code. You didn't include that part of the information.

go to start > settings > System > update profile and see if it works? if not then you should try flashing another rom :P

has to be the phone since one works and one doesnt.... i would bring it in and show them what it is doing and get another one.... so go back to stock and bring her in and tell them you want a new one if the problem cant be fixed now since you arent paying for features that you want to use but cant.

It is confirmed I only get messages from friends that are on the sprint network. I had 3 other friends on at&t, Altell, verizion and all can't text me. but every last person that text me from sprint it works.

You should relock it, you can call customer service but they'll tell you to bring it to a sprint store for repair, so just head to the sprint store, they'll try to make you pay if you don't have insurance, politely say you won't pay more money for something that was originally priced at over $500, insist that you've already spent a lot of money on the phone, luckily they'll tell you that they will replace it for free(actually they'll make you pay, and then credit it back to you account immediately)

i tried this rom out for a few days. mainly because it has sprint nav cooked in. In my few day of usage. its a pretty good rom, but i had a few problems when texting and it goes to the dialpad and then i am calling people by accident. then when i try to hang up it saya "nohome service" or somethin like that at the top of my tflo3d. Oh and i liked the weather master i could actually put my city rather than the closest big city. But i think i am goin to stick with Starman. those were the only two things that this rom really had over starman.

Well I just got a call from Sprint Engineer and She said it was fixed I called my friends that I was not getting text from and they text me back so it was on Sprints side I thought it might be when I discovered it was only Sprint people that could text me.

This is a great Rom and it is not the rom I was having trouble with I just wanted to eliminate the possibilities that it could be. So I did stock Rom and still same thing but IT WAS SPRINTS PROBLEM !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad so now I can flash back to this rom I hate stock LOL

This new rom is faster than the previous version and battery feels a little better too. I'm running the standard version which doesn't have the "Clear Storage" option, it was left out by mistake. Opera by defult has the "Enable plug-ins" option selected, it has to be disabled otherwise Opera will freeze everytime it's used. On this new version, G-sensor actually works!!!

Going back to "clear storage" being left out, I've tried the other option(volume down + enter + then reset) to hard reset my phone but as soon as i press Reset, my phone only soft resets, don't know what im doing wrong.

i flashed this rom, v120, fri morning and i was going to post this rave review saying how much i loved it and everything, how it was the greatest thing ever (i did also flash the telus radio and i think that has alot to do with it, but now i see there's an update! could it get any better? i'll let you know.

Yeah i just noticed the standard version is not available, you can still flash any of the other 2 though, or follow the link to the ppcgeek site and get it from there.
