so far, yes. I left the pphone on the charger all night and took it off today around 1150am. lite net use, received about 20 texts( didn't respond) it's now 749pm est and I have 90%.

with my experience, i must say YES! I had it off the charger at 8'30 this morning and i didnt have to put it back on untill about 7p.m. and thats me using it heavily. Battery has improved!

sup Wckediden the sss rom is kickin it the only thing is that his dialer wont let me dial out PERIOD :) i had to fix it with a custom dialer (thought that was strange).. but n e way i been running the telus radio for a long time i tried to run the verizon radio like Supa recommended but it gets to 5% when i start the update then says invalid model. cant i not use verizon or sumtin?? and my service is with sprint not sure if that helps out though.

huh thats the not unlocked error your getting right there.... go to the bootloader mode ansd see if your still unlcoked even though you are on a custom rom....

mmmmm yeah not sure either.... try to soft reset your device ansd reboot your computer and see what that does for oyu.... you could also try to make a new partnership and see what that does.

damn bro thats weird, i just flashed both the sss rom and verizon radio last night with no problems.... you might wanna re-flash, also for the dialer, i think 2 or 3 pages back, there was a link for the fix, and it works good, also, you wanna download the cdma fix posted also 2 or 3 pages back by shownuf, it will fix the problem with the texting. keep us updated.

after two days, I'm down to 60%. I have only made one phone call and severall texts. The battery life is the best yet for any of decks builds. If it was any better it would rival the Mighty Rom.

So far I've been able to run the TF3D2 through it's paces and only once did TF3D2 crash, and that was when I was messing with the FB integration. I quick soft reset and back in busniess.

The overall stability is great and as in my previous posts about this rom it kicks @$$. Now that the battery issue if fixed, I will probubally run this rom for a while.

For those of you having the dialer problem, I think its because he has an older version of the dialer. I have attached the newest version and it should work.

i got the "INVALID MODEL" error when I unlocked my phone with the wrong unlocker, so make sure you're using the right one

I just tested on my phone and my contacts pictures show just fine...is it for all your contacts or just certain ones? If it is just for certain ones then I would look and see if they have a picture assigned to them.

Just a small update for you all about battery life. I flashed to this rom on Friday morning at the time of this post, it's Sunday night. I installed some cabs, backed up the PIM and system via Swcked Backup, received some texts, sent some texts, made a couple of phone calls and my battery is at 30%.

No I'm not kiddin and yes I'm serious.

I've not been busy and the phone has sat idle most of the time. But If you remember my eariler posts about eariler versions of this rom, just sitting idle would drain the battery almost overnight.

yes he has. I am extremely happy with this rom. it will be a hard sell for me to flash to another rom anytime soon, unless deck releases v121.

I've been running 0120 for 2 days now. This is by far the best release! No probs at all on my end and the battery life is superb! I last charged at 8pm last nite and still 3/4 full after about 20 texts, 2-5min phone calls and an hour of yahtzee adventure! Great Job!

If u think this battery good u should true star rom battery i charged my phone around 9pm took it off charge at 100% its still at 90% constant use

Yes, after a fresh flash, install the cabs. otherwise you can't dial out or place a call to a number that is not in your contacts. the xboxmod is to texts. i never got the text error, but i installed it anyway.

Here is a possible fix or fixes for the tachi dialer issues. without installing the tachi cab.

I got these from the Xda Developers site I surfed through since I'm at home recovering from surgery:

just check this reg key in ur oemdrivers

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DialParser]
"DLL-OEM"="dpext.dll"

above is from my touch pro
then find the **** tachi:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DialParser]

Here is a fix I found over at Xda. All credit goes to captblaze.

you need to edit a registry entry

be warned that will fix the dialer not behaving, but will also kill the ## codes

So you will NOT be able to mess with your msl codes.

I just checked my phone, but I had already installed the tachi canvas fix, so my reg edit was correct. It's almost worth a hard reset to see if the reg edit fix works. Hrm....maybe later tonight.

Charged over night and took phone off @ ~6:30 am.....have email set to sync every 30 min, have numerous texts in/outgoing played a bit with teeter...*i know*, surfed, watched some youtube vids, checked fbook made about 1 hrs worth of calls =Battery @20% by10:42pm. This is not with any additional tweaks or changes in the radio. I did notice though that the My Contact Card would not allow me to use a pic from my pix album....*not a deal breaker* I have switched radios to the new verizon 1.03.09 i think it is....newest radio....with a slightly noticeable increase of data stayingin Ev vs 1x, and a little more battery by the end of the day....but alas....it seems to me that the Telus radio works best with this badboy....btw I live in Illadelphia. i have to agree with you. i flashed star2.0 lastnight just to test it, and i did not like it...... i mean it looked and worked okay, but some apps didnt work for me.... i dont know, it just didn't FEEL good....... but this rom is great!!!! plus i got the "250" battery tweak, which increases life battery, plus the VZW radio.

Yeah I've been running this ROM for about 2 days now and I'm not sure whats going on. Over the past 2 days this has froze on me about 6 times when I'm trying to send texts. When I'm texting and go into landscape mode, it sometimes sends me to the dialer screen. I'm also unsure how people can get 24-36 hours of battery life. I took my TP out of the charger at 9:00am and now it's 11:30pm and at 20%. I've sent about 25 texts and talked about 20 min. This is about the same battery life I got when I was running the mighty ROM. Maybe I'll reflash? I like the look of this ROM, but it's freezing too much for me and the battery life is unimpressive. I have not expreienced any of the issues you mentioned. what rom did you flash from? and did you run a hard reset after you flashed?

If it were me, I'd flash back stock. run a hardreset. Flash back to v120, remove the battery after the flash, run set up, then hard reset again.

also what radio are you running? I'm running v1.11.00.
