NFSFAN rom is what im running currently on my pro and love it.

I would give it a shot, but it doesn't have TF3D2. :(

overall i'd have to recommend everyone stay with v203.

v204 doesn't have quick gps or has the quick gps bug which denies access to the gps updates and i never received any gps signals. not that i use the gps programs frequently. but i was on the far side of the county i live in and needed to use google maps ASAP and i was running v206 beta, and no gps. which caused me to drop 4 letter words rather quickly and for at least 5 minutes. v204 has the quickgps bug as well and you might not be albe to use the gps on your phone.

needless to say i flashed back to v203 as soon as i could.

on a personal note, i like TF3D2. it meets my needs for quick access to my phone and programs, plus the facebook integration is really growing on me. maybe one day dash will add me as a friend.....................yea..................

i've tried titanium as well but ehh.......it's like ford vs chevy.

if i was to only run titanium i'd run MR6, as the battery life ROCKS!!!

i never got it to work. first "bug" I've had in a while. Some other users @ ppcgeeks get the same error.......

oh and i forgot about the manilla calender bug.

aftera short time of use, if you try to add a new appointment in the manilla calender tab or try to edit an appointment you could not as no app was launched.

a soft rest fixes the issue, but if you are in a hurry, like i always seem to be, it takes too long and is frustrating.

u mean nfsfan does not have tf3d2 ???? it does have titanium + tf3d2 with wm 6.5
im running it on mine bro n its super good so far....
n also i never had any problem with quick gps or telenav on this rom either.......

NO, do not flash this to your diamond.... each title has touch pro, diamond, mogul etc for the name of the PHONE it works for... no rom will work on different model devices.

I wouldn't bother, the next version will be released soon, and it's supposed be the last build. But if you can get your hands on V0203 then flash to that.

Good morning Wckediden! I gave it a week on the v0204-S and here is my review. For me, this is the best version of this rom. All the programs have worked just fine and I'm so glad the change was made from just having the AIM and back to the stock Instant Messaging program which includes all of them. Got tired of Palringo! I have installed battery life tweaks but no matter what, I'm still carrying my charger with me everywhere I go. Battery warning ALWAYS comes up when u dont want it to lol (usually when showing it off) I'm pretty sure some of u agree. I'm averaging about 3 hrs between charges with periodic use and I send about 150 to 200 texts a day. My usual customizations are adding the advanced config tool, keyboard speed increase, about 4 to 5 diff games, sms nuke, and OpMon. Oh...one other thing. I notice that my data connection stay running constantly at times. One time the counter said 6hrs! I dont leave Instant Messaging running and I have my email sync once an hr. I usually just kill it using the Comm Manager when I catch it or sumtimes ill set advanced config to kill it every hr or so. So that's what I have. Hope it can help someone feel like their not the only one! Keep up the good work! Peace!

interesting battery life. I usually got about 10 - 12 hours. but i'm not a heavy net or app user.

I've been running this beta version v205 Beta 3 for about three days. I'm liking this rhodium manila. (can't wait til v2.5 thou).

I know dash doesn't like the newer versions and there are some bugs, like sudden lags and freezes, but i'm getting along with it so far. i'm going to switch to NFSFAN's rom if he can get the manila people tab fixed. I also suggest that rom to you. It's the best out there with the fewest issues, if you don't mind the people tab. or if you don't use manila it's definitely the way to go.

im new here and i like what u guys do here with the touch pro. i just flashed my pro to the sss stuffed and i love it, although i dnt think i did any thing wrong bu when i go to power off my phone it what power down, all i get is file not found. and one other issue i have is the weather app will not download and im redirected to a different screen, can anyone tell me if i did somethin wrong.

which version of this rom are you using? that error poped up a couple of versions ago. you also might want to run a hard reset to see if that clears up the error.

are you using manila or titanium for your today screen?

if you are using manila, did you use the HTC weather app to set up the citiies?


you also might want to post a welcome message in the intro forums, that way you can add a group and see all the site has to offer.

here's the easy fix.

a couple of posts above this one is 205 beta 3. d/l it and flash it

here's the long best fix.

1. flash back to stock. the links to the stock rom are here just search for stock roms.
2. flash sprint radio v 1.11.00 it seems to run the best with this rom.
3. flash 205 beta 3.

it takes about 30 minutes so completely charge the battery before any flashing.

First off, Great Rom! Got me off of Juicy 8. Very Fast, very stable. Only issue I'm having and I don't believe that I saw anyone else with this problem, but if I go to power off the phone I get an error that says "Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename." Anyone got any ideas on this? I normally don't power the phone off anyway, but in the event I need to...It'd be nice to be able to do so.

Also, I did flash to NFSFAN's new rom and didn't get this error so I believe that it is something in the rom but you guys are the experts which is why I come to you!

Don't know what the fix is but the exact same thing happen to me... If that was fixxed i would flash right back to this rom i was loving it til i saw i couldn't turn it off..

when you first flahsed to this rom, did you flash back to stock first?

there is also an alleged fix by installing the psshutxp cab.

First off.....YEAH ICHIGO!!!!!!! Secondly, I recommend the GSS rom or NSFAN rom, both are amazing. SSS hasnt really been the same since v118

any way i find myself flashing back to 205 beta 3. i keep finding small things with NFSFAN that disappoints me. But with NFSFAN you get the total Tsowen taskbar feel, not like beta 3 were the clock is always on the taskbar, despite running advanced config and changing it to battery.

bleach is up to 368 and naruto is up to 458.

but i finally got, teh battery hack to work for now and is somewhat stalbe using advanced config adn changed the today taskbar icon to battery. sometimes you have to tap teh home button to show the battery. BUT i was albe to instal Tsowen's taskbar!!!! and it's stable at the time of this post. hehehe................now that i say that it's all going to hell after i log off..............

Ok, muche as I hate to say it....I flashed back to the NFSFAN rom. After running SsS rom for about a day and a half, the phone froze on me 3 times after very little use. I installed the psshutxp cab and though it did give me an alternative to power cycling with the power button...it did not fix the error that I got when using the power button. I love the rom for the fact that it is very fast, very clean, very smooth. But, even though I mod it like it's a my toy, I still use it for business purposes and can't really afford to have to soft reset all the time or even worse hard resetting. I may try it again when Deck releases the Final Build, but for now......it's NFSFAN or bust.

you have installed your carriers arcsoft mms cab correct?

installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system premissions.

huh odd try to redownload and your not using ie to download are you? if so try firefox, files have troubles downloading with ie for certain users.

arcsoft mms comes cooked in the rom, you should not have to install any additional arcsoft cabs????

did you run a "clear storage" after you flashed the rom?

also if you did, what additional apps did you install that accesses the camera, or sms??

always run a clear storage after a new flash. also what type of back up data did you run???

if you used a user customization files or sashimi your good.

if you ran any type backup file that copied the registry from your old rom, your in for a world of headaches and trouble.

1. in short, since you flashed a new rom, run a clear storage.

2. you need to run each app cab file individually just as you would for a new install, unless you are running an auto installer like sashimi.
