same here about the calender.

i have had a few issues. not sure if anyone else has but here they are:

worldcard mobile is missing some of the graphics. i added them back by hand so no biggie.

the graphics on some of the tab are a little too large for the screen. they go down to the bottom instead of staying about the tab icons.

office mobile isn't completely installed.

adobe is missing (not sure it was suppsed to be there anyway)

switching between tabs seems a little slow.

My calendar link on the TF3D isn't working either. I guess we could remap one of the soft keys, but it would be nice if the calendar link was working, and use that softkey for something else. The music tab in TF3D is really not usable... It takes forever to come up and is really slow when it does. Often times, it causes TF3D to restart, and when it doesn't, it slows the entire device down for a while.

Loving everything else so far!

The problem you guys are having isnt Kaos' fault, its like that in most if not all custom roms. I know, I've ran everyone thats out. Just do what I said in my previous post, its the best solution for the problem thats out rite now.

so far rom is great. I am not familiar with voice commander. Is there a way for it to allow me to hear my ringtones through bluetooth like ms voice command. I would prefer that. If not is there a version available out there (ms voice command) for the touch pro like the stock one or preferrably one that announces the callers like the way it used to. the only one I have is for the mogul but dont think its compatible with touch pro.

Got nothin but love for the Dark Lord... Slightly off topic, but how do you use Tiermann Autoinstall. I put a bunch of cabs in the root directory of my SD card and soft reset, but it didn't do anything. I can't find any directions on this... Anyone?

there is a problem with the touch pro being able to announce incoming calls with voice commander. the following registry tweek is needed as a patch. it still doesn't work 100% correctly but it's better than nothing (this solution was taken from a posting at ppcgeeks - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...command&page=4)

The problem with the call announcement on the TP doesn't appear to be with Voice Command, but possibly with the phone software on the TP - since Voice Command is generating the announcement file - it's just not being played.

The following registry changes might partially restore the call announcement, a short-term solution until something better comes along:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Category: change VoiceCommand1 to Ring
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Script: change as5p to v0p (for vibrate and ring) or p (for ring only)

With this change, the ringtone will start - and then be interrupted with the calller ID/name announcement. (Assuming that call announcement has been enabled in Voice Command).

Only major flaw with this solution is that the announcement volume is low.

1 problem im having is that if i open up a text message with the phone closed. The i slide the keyboard out to write, it goes to PHONE and you have to x it out before you can type. It looks like anything i do, when i slide the keyboard out it goes to phone??

Its a common problem, even happened with stock sometimes. Just make sure that phone is closed and not in backround memory. Your messages may still get sent to backround, but all you have to do is go to the memory and pull it forward

i did soft reset and it seemed to fix it but i can get BeejivelIM to work now haha


the only way i could do a hard reset was to do the clear storage? is that ok

Let me start off by saying this rom is siiiick. GREAT JOB KAOS. my only problem is with sprint tv. Im getting a error code 7004 for sprint tv. i read at ppcgeeks that to solve it you have to cook in the sprint tv oem to the rom.

Try to reinstall sprint tv maybe

I am going to download the ROM again and flash it again.

i did a hard reset and then redownloaded and reflashed. still the exact same results as before of some of the other guys. for some reason, the particular version or rom some of us have is different. it doesn't make a lot of sense but it seems like that's the case.

Actually now that he mentions it, its like that in mine too, and Ive been running this since the beta. I dunno, I just reinstall my programs off my sd card so quick I didnt realize it

I like the ROM a lot the only thing is it doesn't have power point anymore.. is there anyway i can get that.. it goes perfect with my job...
And i had the same problem with the programs and i flashed and heard reset twice.. so i just removed those programs.. what were the programs suppose to be...
and my internet sharing doesn't work it stays on finding network after it checks the usb cable... appreciate all the help in advance!!!!
My internet works now it just kicked in like a few hours later i couldn't get to the internet..

I tried downloading the mobile office and it says there is a newer version on my ppc and that i have to remove it before i can download that version but when i go to add remove programs there is nothing in there...

not sure if this matters but I was trying to use the lightsaber program and it wouldnt work properly. I remember this happened a while back when i was using big jews rom. That rom didnt have .net 35 in it. I know it says this one does but I installed the cab anyway and didnt give me any type of installation error as a matter of fact now the lightsaber program works like a charm. Just thought I would put it out there for anyone else.

I found and have everything i need on my phone now i believe.. GREAT ROM... can't say it enough.. but the only thing is when i go through my programs it may restart the touch flo 3d.. but other than that everything is smoov homies... appreciate it!!!!:guitar:

Glad you got it bro. And the TF3D reseting happens in every ROM. But this ROM is so quick, its a minor inconvinience

sorry, I guess I wasn't clear... I tried to install the version of ms voice command included in this post, as well as version MSVC1.6.19214, and I get an "unrecoverable error" during installation... I'm guessing you can't install Microsoft Voice Command over the baked in non-ms version in this rom? That's too bad... I really like that program, especially the ability to find songs by artist and album. Kaos, any chance you could bake it in future releases?

Im having problems with Sprint Picture mail, it's nto working, and Opera shuts down a lot, and doesn't change automaticto landscape with the support of the G_sensor, thanks in advance, I guess that we have to edit the ppc name, like in the Touch Velvitos rom.

For picture mail, just use SomeguyMMS, its way better and more reliable. And not sure I know what you mean by Touch Velvitos Rom? And is your Opera shutting down, or getting sent to the backround?

sinman, I got that message too, but it should still promt you to restart ur phone. what I did first though is go into voice command and change the settings so I would get my incoming announcements on my bluetooth only and then restarted. Once I restarted I then made the registry changes and now I hear both my ringtones and the announcement of who is calling in my phone. It doesnt work perfectly like it used to on my mogul but like the post said its a temporary fix. Oh one last thing, just to play it safe since I couldnt find a way to turn off the voice commander program that was cooked on this rom, I went to settings and unchecked all of my contacts and all of the programs that showed up in voice commander just to make sure they would no longer work with it. I remember doing this once before on a rom with my mogul and it seemed to allow ms voice command to work instead of voice commander (cyberon). I hope I explained this correctly and hopefully this helps out.

this will work fine with the alltel version.... you will just hase to find the carrier cans since it doesnt come with any of the carrier cabs. correct me if im wrong though guys...
